Comment: I doubt there is any truth to this story. First of all, Clive is overseeing her debut album, not her career. It would fall to her publicist to manage her schedule and appearances. Secondly, the NY Post is not a very credible source of info so I would foolishly like to believe EUR checked the facts before reprinting this story.

Blige, John Legend, etc. and ask them why they were no-shows at the Soul Train awards. Each year we deal with more and more "no-shows" at the Soul Train awards (aka "our" awards shows). Comment: If this story has any merit at all...I am quite sure the chile was just damm tired! But being a new artists/entertainer, if you are being honored with such an award as a Sammy Davis Jr. entertainer of the year award...one might not want to ruffle any feathers. Jen is new at this and Mary J. and Beyonce have a right to be no shows in all honesty...they've been doing this longer. Kind of a been there, done that type of thing!

Comment: amazing how they can show up for the "chez-whitey" award shows, but some excuse always come up when "YOUR OWN" wants to acknowledge you. Remember J-Hud and to the others, THE ROAD GETS BUMPIER ON THE RETURN ROUTE. Comment: This story may have been proven untrue by now, but I believe that it points out a serious and on-going problem of 'sensamedia'(sensationalized, exaggerated media coverage). The only remedy if to stop 'patronizing' Page Six and the other peddlers of junk journalism. When they villafy J. Hud, who will take them seriously if they ever addressed real problems of the day (high-school dropout rates; AIDS; child porn). Does The Post even cover such stories???? This was during the time that the "Source Awards" was around and fights at awards shows were happening often. Folks would get on stage and say whatever and there was no structure or control. It became a joke to me. Maybe some of the performers felt the same way.

Comment: I'm watching "Inside Story" while I'm typing and they just covered the JenHud SoulTrain appearance, calling it the backstage drama. To top it off, there was a report that Clive Davis told Hudson to "get your @*& out to LA". Now this tees me off a bit because there was no mention of the other stars that did not show but they want to drum up stuff with Jennifer Hudson. That lets me know she apparently has arrived anytime the media wants to nickpick and find a flaw. To top off the insult, the Soul Train Award show didn't get that much press on "Inside Edition" before. So the backlash on JenHud is underway; don't fall for the negative hype.

Ever heard a celebrity claim that an unflattering story was true? Of course not. Why you people think that celebs in any way live like you and me is beyond me.
