Comment: As an older brother (52), I have to admit Terrie's dilemma kind of tickles me. I remember how she lampooned us mature guys in her movie, and I remember her downing us on talk shows because of or so-called "deficiencies" (old bodies, impotency, whatever). She stereotyped and basically insulted us old guys. I got love for younger dudes, (I used to be one ;-), but I'm here to tell you, if you treat people right and take care of yourself, you can get older without aging. Terrie was too shallow to see that, and you see how she ended up. I have peers who prefer younger women and believe that women past the age of 40 are pretty much useless. I don't get it. I respect younger folks, but prefer being the age I am because I'm a much better man now (in every way, even sexually) than I was 20 years ago. I'm glad Terrie didn't get hiv, but I hope she learned something. She needs to forgive her ex, not for his sake, but for hers. Ok, I'm now officially off my soapbox ;-)
