Comment: Let me start by saying the part about the museum should have included 'but it was burned to the ground and no suspects have been caught'! Sometimes we have to mete out justice our damnselves - I get sick and tired of hearing stories like this. Blacks continue to live in this town and it's surrounded by people that would do them harm at the drop of a hat - at some point you have to give them back some of their shat. This case is an atrocity and it should be the stepping stone for the black community to stand up and care for their own. NO JUSTICE - NO PEACE!

Remember many years ago in Forthsythe, GA (a town that had been "all-white" for over 100 years and a hotbed of Klanism)a Black family moved in only to have their windows busted out and a "cross" burned on their front lawn. The NAACP and others led a "protest march" on the town and these negro slaves had the nerve to look for sympathy for their "cause" when they were met with rocks, spit, and bottles. Why would anyone want to put themseves and their families in that type of situation? Do we love and want to be near them that much? Damn!!

Comment: Yall are making this racial, but in most cases where a female teacher has sex with a male students, the females usually gets a slap on the wrist. Now, all of the ones I knew about in the news involved white females with white males. However, everyone acting like this is something new, but it not, its just getting reported more because the media loves any story having to do with sex. Also, men for the most part are not as outraged by these incidences, we just wish it could have been us when we were in school and since men control the legal system, the women get a slap on the wrist. Right or wrong, for the most part,teenage boys having sex are only viewed as victims by women and mothers (unless it involved a homosexual act) because as men thats all we think about the minute we hit puberty. Have you ever noticed that with many of these stories its the mother who's outraged while the father stands in the background with a "that's my boy!" smirk on his face. Comment: DOne you said it before I could. It may be a double standard, morally wrong or whatever... but that's just the way the world is. There are not many men who are looking at these boys as "victims". Just like Mary Kay from the first most publicized case... she got a slap on the wrist until she just couldn't stay away from the young boy. Now they are married. (whether that's healthy or not is an other debate) But seriously, they will probably only get a more severe sentence now because the media is watching.

Comment: DOne..I guess I didn't realize that people were making a racial issue of this. It even flew over my head when Thun was invoking Al's name in this. Personally, I never looked at it this way cuz as was said...the media usually responds this way when the woman is the perpetrator. I believe that all criminals are created equal. Women deserve the same amount of indictments/sentencing as men. The refusal to see it that way is a true detriment.

Comment: There was a teacher here in Silver Springs, MD 2 years ago (black) who lost everything and was incarcerated until her trial for having sex with a student. White women pedophiles get off easier cause the most recent case of 3 Germantown teachers the black one was not given bond! It is most assuredly racial! Let's be real. These teens know what they are doing. They may not have the emotional maturity to think ahead but they are not emotionally scarred by these situations in most cases. They just aren't. Comment: Generally most women whoi have done this kind of thing don't stay in jail, black young man or white young man. Even the most famous case where the woman was having sex with a 13 year old, had his child and finally married him after jail had a very light sentence considering she kept ignoring all sanctions and still was messing around with the dude. Situations like this unfortunately are not taken as serious as they should because it plays into society's imagination, that these young men go lucky, they got to have SEX with an experienced woman. Check out even the comedians in cases ilke these. Yes it is child molestation, but a lot people secretly don't view at that way, hence the lighter sentencing, black or white.

If he can get jail time for having consentual sex with a 15 year old white girl when he was 18, surely these two fools deserve jail time.

Comment: I remember working at a sleepaway camp for "at risk" children one summer. These kids were from Southeast DC and were wild. Well, so were many of the camp counselors. There was this one 12 year old with literally the body of a 21 year old - C cups, ample rear, and a very pretty face. One of my fellow counselors was creaming over her immediately and we all looked at him like he was crazy. Fast forward 2 weeks and he was caught fukking the shiznit out of that poor girl one night and I believe he is still in jail now. That was the summer of 1995.
