Comment: Loretta Divine is my choice for portraying The Queen of Soul on stage and screen after 40. Ms. Divine is not only a phenomenal actress but a great singer too. The role not only calls for good singing, but it’s time we see some believable acting performances on stage, but especially the screen.

Comment: "is already considering such talents as Fantasia Barrino"
DUHHHH Screaming is NOT a talent! Hopefully she'll find a real singer who's not famous because of a bullShyt TV show

Comment: Ho_Lee_Mackeral you must have missed the UNICF Tribute to Aretha Franklin that was on tv a couple of months ago. Because Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson, who both came from a bullShyt Tv show, showed up and tore the stage down. You need to head to youtube and find a clip of Fantasia singing "Baby I Love You" because if she didn't sound just like a young Aretha nobody does.

Comment: >Ho_Lee_Mackeral Also, Fanatasia portrayed her already on this television show that portrayed different celebraties. Also, Fantasia can sing without screaming. Think back to American Idol "Summertime" and the song for the play "Color Purple" that was on Oprah. And she sang the *bleep out of it. Thank you very much.
