Comment: "When a woman's fed up..." Sounds like Whitney was disappointed and too thru with the whole process. It's a draining ordeal and the fact that she's mourning the end of her 15+ years with her husband should shock no one. I wonder if Bobby might start to get it now that 'throwing the D' shouldn't be considered the only hobby/career choice and he needs to do more in life besides proclaim himself 'the King of R&B'...

Comment: You right Soul. I like how Whitney ended her divorce not asking for support from him. I guess she decided that she will not be like the other women in the news waiting on Bobby to be arrested so folk can proclaim that they bailed him out of jail in order to pay off child support and future alimony payments..sometimes its good to just surrender, cut your loses no matter how much they will hurt emotionally and physicially and move on with true piece of mind and spirit.

Comment: Peace for Whitney and her daughter, hopefully will put them both on a new path in life. There have been rumors that Whit has lost her voice. I'm hoping the pain of this divorce and the life that never was, will be heard in a new, more soulful and contrite Whitney.

Comment: What is it about reality shows that's the kiss of death to married couples? Shanna Moakler + Travis Barker, Nick + Jessica, Carmen Electra + Dave Navarro... Rev. Run + Justine have a lot of God in their life; I know they'll be alright. It's just interesting to me that Whitney + Bobby broke up so soon after their reality show. Another poster mentioned that they might get back together. That hadn't crossed my mind, but who knows? They could do the break-up-to-make-up thang like Pam + Tommy Lee, Eminem + Kim, Liz Taylor + Richard Burton.

Comment: Whitney didn't ask for support from Bobby? The real suprise is that he didn't ask for support from her, given that her net worth, at least at the start of the marriage, was several times his.

Comment: That's because they had an iron clad pre-nup. This is why there is no joint community property, the Atlanta home I believe was thier only property together and Whit let the govt either have it or she payed of the taxes and will sell it. That folks is a wrap. I do hope she hasn't lost her voice, but Mariah, Artetha, Dionee etc...all of them have lost thier vocals and still are fine. She'll be alright, she needs to put down those newports, though.

Comment: That she endured 14+ years with that man truly proves that she loved him; they just were not good for each other...tomorrow will not be an easy day for either of them because of all that they shared. I don't even think that Whitney gave a second thought to what she gave him, it was hard enough more than likely for her to find someone who "got her" when she took her hair off. She always acknowledged that Bobby gave her confidence -- she disclosed in interviews that he made he follow through with the Bodyguard. Clive ensured that Whitney was "larger than life" -- but when the curtain got peeled back, we learned she was just an around the way girl from Newark....Divorce is hard and it's not fun, for either party regardless of circumstances or who left who. When you are truly not happy you mostly mourn the idea of what it "could" have been -- because when you really think about it -- you don't miss what it was.

Comment: I wish them both well. I love and miss Whitney from back in the day but I really don't think that Bobby was a terrible guy. I think they just got caught up in the drugs and drama and lost it. I also believe that they loved each other in their own dysfunctional way. Peace.

Comment: Sometimes you can love someone, but being with them isn't good for you. Bobby and Whitney didn't bring out the best in one another. Rather, they brought out the worst. I hope both of them move forward and upward in their lives. And, I hope Bobby gets a vasectomy so he won't conjure up future child support jail terms.
