Comment: That brand is dead, and it's really sad. At one time the source was outselling on newsstand darn near every publication -- and I mean every. Newsstand sales is where the money is -- not discounted subscriptions. I really think with this one, they outdid Cross Colors-- remember that clothing company from the 80's.

Comment: TEIGH>yeah, i wondered what ever happened to CrossColors and also, whateverhappend to Karl Kanai? he used to be everywhere too.

Comment: Cross Colours and Karl Kani were out in the 90s. Damn, The Source is bankrupt? I can't say that I'm surprised. XXL has been the leading rap magazine for a while.

Comment: this is ashamed , i enjoyed this magazine, it seems that hip hop is dead.i do think though if someone like krs-1 and nas a educated writer , roxanne shante had a column and they reemerge they could do it again . but hip hop has to do better too because its dead

Comment: The Source, XXL, Vibe, etc. are garbage!! The interviews are a joke (because they aren't talkin' about shyt!!), out of 100-and-someodd pages 50 are advertisements for "rims", and the only reason most of these mags sell is because of the scantily clad video vixens and the sistas with much junk in the trunk!!

Comment: The Source has always been bankrupt as far as I'm concerned! Ain't nothing but ads up in that piece anyway! Good riddance to bad rubbish!
