Comment: You've got to be kidding me! In the wake of the whole Don Imus affair you've got folks still going on the air and trying to get away with stuff like this??? The only thing I can figure is, and someone please help me out if any one knows for sure, but are there different laws for satellite radio that doesn't pertain to regular radio? For instance, if Imus said what he said on XM or Sirius radio instead of CBS, would he have been fired?

But in this case, with the recent Imus situation, race was not the only factor--Sexism was just as blatant in his remarks. These fools statements were sadistic, criminal and misogynistic and for that alone-what they said should have ramifications. But with Bushit as president, everyone seems to think anything goes these days. Its high past time for the people to take back the airwaves. I see it all the time and as much as many women get up in arms about the men saying it, here comes a woman to undermind what was just said black AND white. The homeless man was not a recurring guest. He had been involved in one event in the past but none of the show members recognized him when they ran into him on the street on the way into the studio.
He was going off on how he mugs "old b*tches" on the first so he can get more money, then Rice was on the tv and he went off saying what he said.
O&A then made jokes with him as the butt of the jokes. The joke was that not only would she be attacked in that scenario, but it would be by such a smelly nasty disgusting man.
