Comment: You know I hadn't thought of it that way but most of the princesses in the disney series, with the exception of cinderella were not chambermaids. what they needed were some intelligent blacks on the writing staff that might have foreseen this backlash.

Comment: Well, its no secret that Walt Disney was a devout racist and like someone said earlier, they've run out of races so they choose a black princess last and to make it worse, it revolves around Voodoo. How come it can't be like a Cinderella story? I think we are going to gripe so much about this and it will never come to light. Oh well, everyone is used to not seeing a black Disney cartoon because who in the world would go see it? That would be a big money loss and the Disney execs know it. I know at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA they only have blacks working the food courts.. I never see them doing anything else.

Comment: Stephanie, that's not true. I was at Disneyland not too long ago (Christmas time) and there were blacks working in other places than the food courts. A black girl took my ticket at the ticket booth. Throughout the day, I seen black working the rides and in the shops. You just might have been there on a day when you didn't see any blacks in other places.

Comment: Also when I took my daughters there were plenty of blacks spending money & enjoying the park. Plus all races were serving food & cleaning up (mostly teens though)
