Comment: B00TANEB00TUS , Youre right, she does look frosted, looks like she's been dipped in a vat of krispy kreme doughnut glaze.....

Comment: I walked out of Lauryn's concert at Carnegie Hall about 3 years ago -- it was pathetic and going no where fast...between Rohan Marley, and her not wanting to credit the people who made that record with her (listen to John Legend's first record, those piano chords on Miseducation are clearly his, although he did not participate in the lawsuit); she brought her woes to herself....Kind of like how Thunny eloquently explained Busta's antics last week. Perhaps she is watching the success of Amy Winehouse (who riffs a line from one of Lauryn's songs) or maybe it was Joss Stone (Lauryn has a cameo on Joss's project) that snapped her out of it. Truth is, Lauryn can not create another Miseducation of Lauryn Hill or anything remotely like it because she did not solely create the music on that project, it was a collective effort. Now get a producer, PAY him and keep it moving.

Comment: actually that concert was more like 5 years ago...

Comment: >huey you may have a point there but maybe she had the munchies real bad and dove head first into a box of crispy cremes.

Comment: Used to love Lauryn, but I would never put down my hard-earned cash for a ticket to one of her shows now. Her voice and her antics are too unstable.

Comment: What happened to Lauryn? Was it the weed or having all of those babies in quick succession? Years ago, I could have sworn she was going to be around for a long time? Her fall was kinda shocking. She seemed level headed at some point. However, she really doesn't have to work ocnsidering all of the Marley money.

Comment: I love Lauryn Hill!Get Well Soon, gurl! Those Marley's put "roots" on Lauryn.

Comment: I really want to go to the Oakland show, but before I shell out any $$$ I need to know if this will be a "L-Boogie" show or a "Miss Hill" show...i will not waste my money on the latter....

Comment: Whatever you do, do not buy tickets to see her in concert. A few years ago, my brother in law bought my sister and I tickets to her concert in San Diego for our birthdays and you talked about disappointed...she does not sing anything from the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. All she does is sing about freedom reedemption and raps about political issues and plays this stupid guitar...we wanted a refund so bad but the Roots made the concert worth while...but still...

Comment: Stephanie...thanks for the info...

Comment: I liked Lauryn's MTV Unplugged set that year. But then again I didn't tune into it expecting to hear a Miseducation Part 2. I was just happy to see a sistah and hear how she was doin. Those songs she sang were so heartfelt and personal I got what she was saying even when she would sing or say nothing and just started crying. I could feel where she was coming from even in the unspoken. It was a testimony that I think every person in that studio felt. I know I did. Doesn't every artist have the right to do at least one personal testimony type album?
