Comment: Make tha money Tyler Perry! Congratulations

Name: missgee
Comment: I support Tyler in all his ventures I just hope the writing gets better because the show is new but, we need to give it a chance. When a Different World was first broadcast it wasn't that great until Debbie Allen was brought in and the entire show was revamped and was it much better the second time around.

Comment: I believe for some people it's less about money and more about doing something you love. I thank God Tyler Perry loves to create plays and shows and I will continue to support his projects.

Comment: I like the "stage" Madea more than the "film" Madea cause it seems the film version loses some of the edge and sass that makes Madea the character she is but none the less, congrats to Mr. Perry and hope that he has continued success.

Comment: Great news! I like the tv show, too. The cast is very funny. Brown is a mess. He had me rolling!

Comment: Congratulations Tyler. I think the rewrites worked very well for the TBS launch. Very good stuff!

Comment: Tired already.

Comment: I am tired of T Perry, I was a big fan of the Madea plays until I realized that each play contains the same stupid elements, mostly him going off on everybody else in the cast. The Browns is the stupidest of them all. I'm sorry I don't claim to be the most sophisticated person in the world but I really am sick of the chittling and hog mawl comedy. It's too much for me. If you think you want to see this on the big screen do yourself a favor first rent the play from the video store and expose yourself to the world of the Browns. Ugh!

Comment: All I know is that show is H-O-R-R-I-B-U-L-L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love what Tyler Perry stands for, but I cannot support such a weak show.

Comment: I too am not a fan of the tv show but love the plays. I WILL support TP and at least turn my tv to that station even if I am not watching just for the ratings. Hopefully, like missgee stated, it will be revamped because if it isn't, this show will not last. I wish I would have seen the pilot. I hope it was better than the first two episodes that aired this week. Still, I will give it a try and see. Have a great and safe weekend all.

Comment: Tyler Perry is tired, can he come up with anything that doesn't require his big grown-man azz wearing a fuvkin dress?

Comment: There were some parts of the show that were funny but when the dad reported to the firehouse in pants and shirt that were wayyyyy too small I was like...okay. When they had the birthday party for the dad and that dude from "Meet the Browns" came in I was.....okay. That dude should never be allowed on the show again because he doesn't fit in. Other than that I'm all in support for Tyler Perry and he should let the show stand on it's own two feet instead of bringing in Madea to it.

Comment: I bet those high debut numbers will be down next week because that show was a flaming hot mess with extra cheese.

Comment: And "meet the browns" was tylers worst play to date. They should make "madea goes to jail" or something.

Comment: In regards to the new TP show "House of Payne" HATED IT!!. I usually support Tyler Perry inititives but I can't back this one. It was so horrible it was should have been titled "House of Pain" because that's what it cost me.

Comment: Congrats Tyler!

Name: Train
Comment: >southernbelle, you are hella funny. House of pain...lol

Name: Beezyuu
Comment: I really like Tyler Perry because he give's back to the community, but I'm afraid that he can't get pass the Madea mentality. His new show is a poor representation of the black family, so I'm wondering if he is capable of doing intelligent black comedy.
