In my city, our former Recreation and Parks Director had an affair with a staffer. She was black as well and from a prominent family. She was paid for work not performed. The daily drug them through the mud and completed the destruction of what was left of their reputations.

But for real... Zeek Washington was right about one thing: there is a certain hypocrisy in how Hollywood deals with Black actors. His gay slur while a slur, wasn't even about TJ, it was about letting McCorny know that IW wasn't some lightweight that was being coddled by everyone around him and that he had to fight for everything he had and wasn't gonna be pushed around by anyone. But it be what it be. Now hopefully folks will give Washington the same chance to "change" that we've given Bono I mean "Apostle Bono", Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Susan Sarandon, and the the thousands of other random azz White Hollywooders who turned saints after years of being drunks/druggies, hoe-bags, jerks, "difficult actors", selfish fools, etc. Maybe Washington's Africa thing is a sham. Maybe it's a Chappelle-ian vacation... maybe it's real. Let's see what brotha's about first.

Comment: I'm Mad As Hell, And I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore! This is the famous line from the movie Network, when anchorman "Howard Beale" had a meltdown on the air. This is also the statement that was released by Actor Isaiah Washington when he found out his contract was not being renewed by ABC for Grey's Anatomy. Washington could not believe it when he got the call. He realizes he was a problem on the set of the show, but he thought because he atoned for his actions he would be invited back. Washington made headlines earlier this year when he made a gay slur against one cast member and choked another. Washington has a history of on set fighting dating back to his tenure on the Showtime series Soul Food. Back then, he got into a fight with Producer Tracey Edmonds and Actress Nicole Ari Parker. Washington was caught off guard by his recent firing. He felt they should have fired him back in January after the gay slur incident at The Golden Globes. By waiting all this time to fire him, Washington feels ABC used him. He did everything they asked of him: went to counseling, met with gay rights groups, recorded PSA's, but they still fired him. He felt like they kicked him in the gut, and now he may sue. Spokespeople for ABC feel it was not working out having him on the set because people still felt weird having him around.

I really don't feel sorry for either guy. As early as 8 years old, I could tell you what the word "consequences" meant because my parents drilled it into our heads. When you do something wrong, you face consequences. Don't do that thing wrong and you won't face those consequences. Simple.

And he messed it up.

Imus broadcast the "nappy-head" comment on April 4. He went on the Sharpton show on April 9th. He was then suspended by CBS "after" his appearance and apology.
On the 11th NBC canceled their simulcast. The next day, CBS fired Imus.
So the whole thing took place in a very different timeframe than you said.
And in a totally different order than you said.
So apparently you didn't take 10 seconds to type "Don Imus" into Google before you posted your screed. Obviously that's because you don't care about the facts in the first place.
As for Massa, what he really appreciates is fake loudmouthed black people posting illegible, illogical, hysterical comments on the web for all of the world to see.
