Comment: I always thought that HO was a woman/man who sleeps with many different partners. Clearly that is not Beyonce. If you want to say she dresses like one then you have to say that about Pamela Anderson, Britney and many other white female entertainers who are never called a HO.

Comment: If someone says something at which Jews take offend they quickly holler “anti-semitic”. (I have something to say about the term anti-semitic in a minute.) Yet, they feel at ease being responsible for demeaning Black folk. There should be a loud clamor from the Jewish community condemning the person responsible for calling her that. However, they have double standards and nothing will be forthcoming. <<Harvey Levin […] runs TMZ.com http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/25/business/media/25tmz .html?_r=1&pagewanted=all >>

Comment: Now about the term anti-Semitic, the Jews are tricky with words. When appropriate, the term they should be using is anti-Jews or anti-Jewish. A person can be anti-Jews without being anti-Semitic. Some Arabs are Shemites as are many Asians. Another trick of there is getting people to say holocaust as in the “Jewish Holocaust”. Holocaust the translation of a Greek scriptural term that, it appears, did not have a profane or secular use in ancient Greek literature. It basically means a whole animal sacrifice put on the altar of God and completely consumed in fire. The implication is that the sacrifice is approved by God (although He did not always approve). Therefore, every time we refer to what Hitler did to Jews as a holocaust we are saying the Jews that died were approved or accepted as righteous by God. In a sense we are rendering religious devotion for Jews that Hitler killed every time we use the term. Whether they were approved or not is not for me to say, therefore I don’t refer to any mass destruction as a holocaust. If others choose to you it, it is none of my business, but I just want people to understand the trickery of Jews. Whites are as bad. For instance, the word denigrate is as bad or worse than the word n i g g e r. The explanation of that term is too extensive to cover here. All of this is important because the first revolution we African people must fight is that of language and words. To understand what I’m talking about read “Arts of the Contact Zone” by Mary Louise Pratt.

Comment: What I find interesting about Beyonce (and to some extent jayZ in his marketing technics) is that she thinks no one has ever seen any artists that are not popular here. That get up was a direct rip off of Kylie's act. Did she really think no one would notice? Or did she think Kylie has no Black fan base here in the states? Yesterday I heard the remix of "Rehab" on the radio here in NY and the rap stations are billing Any Winehouse as JayZ's new artist. He did not sign her, Universal picked up distribution for this UK release in the States and she is definitely not signed to Def Jam. This is her second release, Ghost Face was rapping on her songs long before Jay Z ever heard of her -- yet in America in the ploy to market her to Black rap radio he is taking credit like he discovered her. The girl has been making music in London for maybe three years now. Please? Does Beyonce (and Jay) think people are that naive?

Comment: We've all been desensitized to the use of the word. One thing the article to point out is the fact that a lot of the young female entertainment are wearing skimpy next to nothing costumes and some of them look like "steetwalkers. One of the fact also is that women don's seem to mind the use of the word since they support the artist who use the words in their lyrics. That sends a message that it's okay, we can say this and we can still sell records.

Name: cocosilk
Comment: I'm not happy with the roboho comment either, but Beyonce has to change her image to not always being sexifying her performances all the damn time. I can't believe her father/manager allows her to do this, but if selling his daughter's soul for a buck makes him happy, more power to him, I guess. And she (or her dad and other yes-folk) don't do their research either. It's pathetic to steal moves from other performers. Not only are there Kylie fans who are black who saw this, but the mainstream media and audience saw this as well as probably cried "foul!" as well. Take a cue from artists like Alicia Keyes and India.Arie and show other talents like actually writing songs on your own without the help of half of the planet (got shut out of the Oscar songwriting category because you were listed 4th on the credit list for 'Listen'? Come on, you couldn't have been at least 2nd on the list?) ; perform more songs with conservative but attractive attire and stay still by a microphone; and for pete sake, don't do another movie that requires you to sing. You can't act without singing? Come on! Everytime a movie comes out with this girl and, surprise, she is singing, critics just roll their eyes and say it's Beyonce being herself. No doubt when Dreamgirls came out, everyone was thinking it was really 'The Destiny Child Story'. I was embarrassed when I saw her video with Shakira. No wonder the planet thinks black women are sexed-up beings who does nothing else but to show their %*$ets and shake them provacatively. A change is overdo in the way black artists present themselves to the world. The females need to stop appearing in videos doing the things that objectify themselves and the rest of us, and black female artists like Beyonce need to change their attire and attitude for the sake of being taken seriously in their career and show that they have more brain power than booty power.

Name: sdedee
Comment: Yes, Teigh, they do. And as you will find many of their fans are blind to the fact, cause their listening to that garbage straight up garbage. My issue with be is that she always wants to scream Christian and then come out lookin like hmm Sheba

Comment: I agree with all the comments but it starts with our community. When we start being responsible & respecting ourselves then maybe things will change.

Name: Papasmurf83
Comment: Beyonce can sing, dance, and write. I've never understood why she chose to be a "star" as opposed to being an artist. She would sell as many (if not more) records, have a longer career, be taken more seriously, be more of a role model, etc. if she'd cut out the azz-shaking, the body writhing, the streetwalker outifits, etc. It's not like she's Madonna who had to distract the public from the fact that her talent was mediocre....

Name: gingerg
Comment: Beyonce's performance was sexy and so what if another artist did something similar at another time. She put her stamp on it. The real problem with TMZ is that they engage in race baiting. Anytime something happens with a black celebrity, you can count on a log of ugly, negative and racist comments, but they can literally kiss Paris' dumb azz.

Name: Fran
Comment: Yes, that was insulting. First of all it was a good performance, the white men just wish they could sleep with Eve and Bey. But slavery is over. Who has the rep for raping black women....yet we are the hos. I am going to write something on the TMZ website now.

Name: gingerg
Comment: This is interesting. I attended an event last evening where a few black male professionals were on hand. The subject of the BET Awards came up and it immediately went to Beyonce. Somebody asked one brother what she was singing. He said he didn't know, but he could tell you what she was WEARING.

Name: 4mybabygirl
Comment: I have to agree with gingerg.. No matter what Britney or Paris do, I haven't heard them called a ho! Paris has made sex tapes and all! Beyonce is highly respectful and young. I personally did not see anything wrong with her attire. She looked sexy not sleezy and yes there is a thin line. She did not not cross it. Eve was highly respectful considering.... These are two of the badest chicks in the game and Whitey don't like it. Well, get over it Beyonce is not going anywhere for a long time. Eve has staying power. I guess if they can n ot get away with calling us Nigg*s, they will try something else. I will definately go on their site and write them a response. I'm sure daddy Knowles is already on it!

Name: gingerg
Comment: Also, if Madonna and Britney aren't hos, I don't know who is.

Name: gingerg
Comment: Coco, I posted something the other day about whether or not Beyonce should feel uncomfortable dancing like that knowing her father was in the audience. Someone responded, basically, that Mathew is a MANAGER first. Oh, well.

Name: gingerg
Comment: Bey likes the attention and adoration that her behavior garners. Does anyone remember when Destiny's Child started out and they were all talking about what good Christian girls they were? When was the last time you heard something about that?

Name: indipindintthnkr
Comment: Thanks gingerg for putting this back into perspective!!! Why when we are called hos by someone, the subject always gets turned away from the fact that they're calling us hos and on some other subject like copying someone else style???? Was KYLIE called a ho? Paris Valtrex azz, Madonna kissin women, Brittany cooch showin, Lindsay's azz and the rest are ALLLLLL hos and TMZ ain't called any of them a ho yet! Them hos change men like I change underwear! Bey ain't in the media doin half the scandalous shyt these women are.

Name: oldschoolbrother
Comment: So Madonna can make a book showing a woman giving her oral, another woman licking her breasts but she is not a HO, Pam Anderson has sex tapes (yes plural) but not a ho, Britney Spears can step out in clubs, no panties, dirty feet but no a ho, need I go on? I dont listen to Beyonce's music, but clearly she is popular, the outfit that was on the BET show was not bad compared to others. The line between music and religion is something altogether different, especially when artists go back and forth between secular and gospel. Plus your boy Kirk Franklin admits to watching porn and you have the other cat admitting he likes men. So all of this is hazy at best.

Name: mseffy
Comment: I didn't read the full story or all of the comments posted, but the headline alone is enough because the portion I did read basically talk about the same thing that's been on these sites for the past several months....the use inappropriate words like Ho, Niggaz, etc. I'll just be happy when the media stops aggrandizing such words in articles like this so and start reporting real news. Article like this play to people's prejudices.

Name: gingerg
Comment: Help a sister out. Who was the brother who sang the gospel song, "Lord, Make Me Over," then disappeared from the scene because all of the mess (i.e., backbiting) that was going on with folks?

Name: HarrisThomas
Comment: Clare Danes, a YT woman, was interviewed on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night. She has a rather smallish rack, however, the show kept putting up an identification banner across her chest because the top that she was wearing tended to expose her meager bosum as she continuously leaned forward towards Stewart. Anybody wanna take a bet on whether TMZ will call her a ho for her exposure? . . . WHEN WE RESPECT EVERY ASPECT OF OURSELVES WITH WORDS AND ACTIONS, WE WILL BE BETTER POSITIONED TO RAIN DOWN DAMNATION ON THOSE WHO DISRESPECT US.

Name: TGen
Comment: I'm trying to figure out what planet some of you posters are on. Paris, Madonna, Britney et al are called "hoes" ALL THE TIME by White folks and whomever else on the media I listen to. lol I'm confused that none of you have heard these people called that name. I hear it FREQUENTLY. Wow...

Name: TGen
Comment: Also, I still don't understand how Beyonce's exploiting her sexuality has gone under the radar for so long. Since her group came out as teens, they were selling their sexuality. (Still don't understand how a "dad" allows that, but I digress). The writer of the article claims she's not defending her, but it's clear that she is. I think if the artist was someone who was always clothed respectfully it would be an easier case to make, but like it or not, like gingerg and others stated, that's not the case. No, no one should be called that name, but let's not pretend it came from nowhere (which is btw the biggest difference between this and the Rutgers ordeal. Those ladies in NO way even pretended to sell their sexuality, quite the opposite in fact. The same cannot be said for Beyonce and other "artists" of the day.)

Name: mseffy
Comment: "articles like this". Speaking of Beyonce's outfit and her overall presence, I agree w/the posts saying she needs to stop all the shaking and gyrating. I was in a restaurant watching the news when a clip of her act came on. The old white guy next to me shouted 'shake it girl'!!, then immediately brought up J Lo and started making comparisons about much more talented and beautiful JLO was. Someone said earlier that they just remembered what Bey was wearing, not the song's lyrics. Beyonce, if you or your handlers are watching and reading, the message is clear. Everyone's tired of the shaking....time to take it to the next level.....uh, that assumes you HAVE a next level.

Name: DCGG
Comment: Oh gimme a fuvkin break...Beyonce's got damn career is based off her shaking her azz like a ho...Jasmyne get a fuvkin job, take up a hobby or just shut the fuvk up...

Name: dcdouglass01
Comment: It is interesting how Paris is lauded for doing her two weeks in jail (after trying to fake her way out of it by pretending to be "sick")---the same Paris, mind you, who has her own porno tape on the market; Britney can show her couchie to the world via her panty-less clubbing; Lindsey can drink like a sailor and have sex with fellow patients at whatever clinic she's at, yet the (white) press spins them as sympathetic figures. But now Beyonce is a ho? And Eve's a street walker cause she had on a tight dress? We're gonna have to start calling some of this racism out, cause things are starting to backslide a little. I know 9/11 scared the s h i t out of white Americans and caused them to kinda huddle and re-group a little bit, but we're gonna have to start calling 'em out. Perhaps on things a little more serious than fashion, but we're definitely gonna have to call them out. As Tavis said this morning in his post-debate comments, make sure we're responsible, but be sure others (outside our community) are held accountable.

Name: amethyst
Comment: Papasmurf83 - I agree. For a long time I've wondered why Beyonce chooses to dress and perform provocatively when she is pretty and talented. Her voice can carry her a long way, she doesn't need to expose her body. The same with Toni Braxton. The skills should be sufficient to bring success. And there are women through the years who aren't as attractive or don't have a poppin' body whose talents make them successful. It's sad that in the current culture exposing women's bodies is more important than their abilities and character. I like how Sade, India.Arie and Alicia Keys present themselves, to name a few. Since when does being sexy require one to be half-naked? The "suggestion" of something more can be more enticing than the display of the goods.

Name: amethyst
Comment: And don't forget that Beyonce's mom has always designed and made the clothes for her and Destiny's Child. So, evidently the provocativeness (is that a word??) is fine with the parents.

Name: katgrrrl
Comment: TEIGH: Thank you! The first time I heard that Amy Winehouse was Jay-Z's "discovery", I almost choked! I read Okay!, Now, Heat and Hello magazines regularly. Amy ain't nothin' NEW. I guess it's the same way Diana Ross "discovered" the Jackson 5 even though it was Gladys Knight who took 'em to Berry Gordy. <> Kylie's no joke. God knows I play the hell outta "Come Into My World"! Bey prolly wishes she'd come up with the idea for Kylie's "Can't get you out of my head" video which is, to quote The Cure, HOT, HOT, HOT! That l'il white jumpsuit, you go girl! But, Bey ain't no slouch herself. I ain't mad at Bey for rippin' her off, lol. We've been ripped off for centuries. <> I could hug this Jasmyne Cannick for defending us (as she said it ain't about Bey, but about the way Black women are depicted in the media). You go sista!

Name: TGen
Comment: DCDouglas, again, I ask, are seriously saying that Paris, Britney, Lindsey et al are treated "sympathetically" by the media? You think Paris has been "lauded" for her jail sentence? WHAT MEDIA ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? The media I see is trashing her every which way, same for the others. I just don't understand what you're talking about...

Name: Angel
Comment: Who has been lauding Paris for doing her jail time?! Are we talking about the media that had a conniption when that chick was released early?!? And you folks have never heard Paris, Madonna, Britney and Pamela Anderson referred to as hos?!? Y'all really need to quit making ish up to try to prove a nonexisting point. LOL

Name: katgrrrl
Comment: GINGERG: Yeah, I do remember how Christian they were when they first came out. But sex sells or so they say, and Matthew's gonna push it. Plus, Bey has Rhianna (sp?) on her heels, so I don't think she'll be puttin' on a turtleneck n' slacks any time soon. Back to what you said about Bey and Christianity, I just hope she doesn't go the way of Whitney. Whitney was ALWAYS givin' praise in the beginning of her career (one of the things I really liked about her). Then it started to wane and she started slippin' into the drugs n' all.

Name: 2ndChance
Comment: i initially liked tmz but some of the comments posted are too over the top for me.

Name: musbdherbs
Comment: So the show was a knock-off? Who cares? It seems that some women in here are suggesting that it's ok to call Beyonce a ho because she dresses like one while performing. Well, there goes the "there are bytches and ho's" argument all-in-one that none of you should ever be offended by.

Name: Dean32
Comment: In america Blacks, African-America, and Negro will always be looked at in a negative way "period". Don't get angry just take there azz to court and do the " LAWSUIT = Money" thing.

Name: jess
Comment: I have to agree with everyone who has stated that no matter how nasty and lowdown the behavior of white females, they never get referred to as hos. Yes, Beyonce's performances are sexy and provocative, but you won't find pictures of her all over the internet drunk and/or doing drugs, legs spread open, cursing people out and disrespecting herself as a Black woman. She doesn't deserve to be called a ho.

Name: SOILL
Comment: >ginerg..the brother's name was Tonex. He had some orientation issues

Name: Snicker
Comment: beyonce may wear revealing stuff when she is performing but outside of the stage she carries herself like a lady and never dresses like a ho or slut.....she's a performer and it's not like she's on stage having active sex with anybody she's just dancing...every time i see pics of her just shopping or somewhere just chillin she is never dressed inappropriately so they better leave beyonce alone before i sick musbdherbs on them!

Name: gingerg
Comment: Thanks, Soill. I figured it was something like that. Folks put his business in the streets.

Name: dcdouglass01
Comment: Yeah, the media still loves Paris (Larry King and others were breaking their neck for her first post-jailbird interview). That little back-and-forth we're-tired-of-Paris stuff is just banter. Much like when you may have once said to a younger sibling, "I hate you!" Did you really hate them? Nope. You loved them. And that's Paris/Britney/Lindsay's relationship with the public. Black people don't have never had that luxury.

Name: sdedee
Comment: Of course no one should be called out of there name, but we know what society we live in so it is what it is. When I say this mean, example: I feel people should be able to where whatever they want but at the same time we as women know that when go out the cat calls are coming, its not right but it is what it is. Girls here in Philly would go to the Greek scantily clad knowing that there are guys there that will surround you and rip your top or whatever off, yet year after year they show up with the smallest clothes they can find. I have no sympathy. No, its not right but it happens. grow up, until we change the human thought pattern this will continue. B knows something many of you dont, looks and body will fool folks for only so long. b "can sing" because most of her fellow females are the ashantis' and shakiras'.

Name: archcookies
Comment: I am telling ya'll Bey better sit it out for awhile or she's going to be overexposed.

Name: TGen
Comment: Sorry Jess, DcDouglas, et al, to say that the White ladies you name "never" get called that word is a straight out lie. Again I ask (but have yet to get an answer), what media are you referring to that "lauds" these women? Larry King is not a good example because he's neutral for the most part. Ever listen to talk radio? Ever listen to comedians? These people are called that word all the time. If you want to make a point of racial inequality, sorry this Beyonce thing is not a good example. White folks love her just as much as Black folks. And this TMZ site has no qualms about calling the White chicks in question names like the h word. You are being disingeunous to try to make a larger point or should I say, to try to defend someone of whom you are [apparently] a fan...

Comment: AMEN kady I really used to like B (not that I dont like her now). enough is enough. make me want to see or hear about you. I must say I do prefer DC music to her solo stuff. Her solo stuff is to much catering and bowing down for my taste.

Name: SweetieDarlin
Comment: Sexy is always part of entertaining. You if Beryonce's choice of costume is not your cup of tea, don't watch her, Beryonce certainly is not the first entertainer to use her sexuality as part her act, that has gone on as far back as JEan Harlow, Rita Hayworth, Lena Horne, Tina Turner etc. the costumes simply got skimpier as times changed. As far as calling Beyonce a Ho, that would indicate her actions, not her performance so they were still wrong. Yes difference Bloggers do call other women hoes due to their behavior not their dress, insulting Eve and Beyonce was unnecessary, simply because the clothes were not up to TMZ's standards, Pam Anderson is never called a Ho is she is sleaily dressed all the time.

Comment: I see the author's point and I'm glad she put TMZ on blast. My grandmother likes to tell us all the time, "You teach people how to treat you." When I was in corporate America, I saw first hand how white people felt perfectly comfortable getting too familiar with blacks and how they addressed us. For example, in a meeting once, a white co-worker addressed everyone else by name, but I was "girl friend." I politely, but firmly, told her to "please feel free to use my first name." We can't allow others to call us what they want to, or treat us how they want to. Of course, we must first start with respecting ourselves and treating each other with respect. If we do this, the rest will fall in line.

Name: SweetieDarlin
Comment: Arch---my point was that their sexuality was based on what was permissible, so they pushed the envelope for what was acceptable for that time i.e. it was racy is Red Dust when Jean Harlow appeared to be naked in taking a shower outdoor, Clark Gable's character got to look down and see her nude---Marilyn Monroe's dress appeared to make her seem nude with beads all over her body at Kennedy's birthday party, which was scandalous at that point. Rita Hayworth did what was considered a racy dance in Rain. My point is this, I'm not going to tell someone what they ought to do as part of their act, if it is offensive I won't look at it, the only concern I would have we be children seeing such things but that is up to their parents. RE: Beyonce stealing an act, did Kylie have it copywrited? Heck most folks stole from Janet who stole from Michael, dance steps are rarely patented, a lot of dances are done by a choreographer not the entertainer, if you take dance you were taught dances someone else did (anyone who took dance in the 70s was taught Slaughter on Tenth Avenue.) If Beyonce learned the routine, so what, did we enjoy it, yes, did people enjoy Kylie's routine, yes so everyone was entertained, that should be all that mattered.

She's being served, smacked, dissed, and exposed for being what I've always suspected: an overrated, thieving, non acting, loud fat mouth banshee. >>There is nothing original about Beyonce. >>Stans all up in arms protesting about the "baddest chick in the game" >> what a title to be proud of. >>How about something more respectful, legend in the making >> Oops missed opportunity because the media is branding Beyonce as a typical, promiscuous, hot in the pants, booty shaking, hip gyrating, scantily clad, two coochie pops from being a stripper. >>I bet she thought she'd be crowned Princess of POP R&B >>Tisk, tisk >>>Karma is a mean B*Tch, ain't she B? >>Oh, I can call you that now, right? > Congratulations to Mathew Knowles. >>He created an illiterate masterpiece. >> God ain't friends with ugly ways. Even on the BET awards B couldn't contain herself. she just had to pop, pop, pop, hump, push, swirl, hump some more because sexuality is her claim to fame. >>>Karma!

Comment: I think most you you missed the point of the article. Jasmine's point was that Ho is becoming synonymous with Black women! Yes, I have heard the media bash Paris, Lindsay,et all, but they still have not called them YT girls a ho, whore or referred to them as acting like hos or whores. I have heard them called skanks, heiffers, but not hos. Yet its the first word YT & some Blacks use when referring to Black women!

Comment: As a woman, I don't see why TMZ had to go there. Personally, I am TIRED of people getting all upset because a WOMAN chooses to dress in a certain fashion. First, I would like to point out that Beyonce is an ENTERTAINER. As such, it is her job to what? Yes, ENTERTAIN US!! Nobody has sh-- to say about Kelly coming on stage in her booty shorts, but Beyonce gets flack for wearing clothes that are skin-tight??? Look people, some women were blessed with natural curves and they are NOTHING to be ashamed of! I am tired of being made to feel like "thicker" women need to hide their figures and are called hoes and hoochies and all that mess when they choose to show their shape. I too am blessed with an ample bottom, hips, and thighs and once upon a time I felt like I needed to cover up. Well you know what? Any GROWN WOMAN should be able to dress sexy or even provocatively on occassion and hold her head high. I commend Beyonce for showing off her %*$ets instead of killing herself trying to fit someone else's mold of what is beautiful. That said, I don't think it's fair to make Beyonce the poster child for how ALL Black women will be viewed. If you see someone on the street in Beyonce's outfit, you may be right in thinking she's a streetwalker. But come on, Beyonce is PAID to entertain America. This is what she has done all along, even while with Destiny's Child. Why does she need to stop now? It's obviously working for her. And no one can say the girl isn't talented. Again I ask would we even be having this discussion if it was Kelly (Rowland) who wore that outfit? Probably not. IMHO the only thing Beyonce needs to worry about is the day people STOP talking about her. Also, we need to stop judging people. I know it's easy to say things about someone you don't know, but what is the need? Why does it matter??? Lastly, I do think we as a people need to find a way to end the widespread and flagrant use of such derogatory terms as "%*$!(@", "%*$!(", "ho", etc. What is the point? There is NO WAY those words can be used without hurting someone. And yes, it DOES seem like Black people are the ones targeted with these horrible words in the media. We need to stand up once and for all, start taking responsibility and come up with better and more pleasant ways of communicating. It is awfully hard to argue that non-Blacks should refrain from the use of these words, when we use them against OURSELVES in such a negative light. Additionally, we as consumers need to stop crying about how music artists using these same words all the time and take action! STOP BUYING THE ALBUMS IF YOU ARE SO AGAINST THE LANGUAGE!!! If artists/record companies stop making profits profit, they will mend their ways. Be blessed my people!!

Comment: Great article. It does seem that 'everyone' feels quite comfortable calling black women anything and everything. Not good, needs to be addressed...too bad many of our 'brothers' can't protect us like we should be protect. I for one would love to not 'have' to stand up for myself but have a 'brother' do it for me. Think about it, how nice would it be if we were thought highly of and protected rather than demeaned and told to fend for ourselves (which is what we pretty much have to do)

Comment: Beyonce dresses and dances sexy. She has worked many years to be where she's at--and she looks really really good, and she's a professional entertainer. Does not mean she's a ho. It means that while she is on stage and in the entertainment industry, she will continue to dress in a manner that captures attention and ticket sales. When she is relaxin..she dresses casual and sexy, she's a fine woman, so what?

Comment: Beyonce s sexuaity has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!! Please get that through YALLS HEADS!! The issue is RACISM & WORD ASSOCIATION!! For example..Ever notice how YT called The BLACK victims of katrina refugees..While calling The White victims VICTIMS!!SURVIVORS!! Ever notice how they call Michael Jackson, R Kelly petifiles BUT NEVER call ELVIS PRESLEY,, JERRY LEE LEWIS THAT!!!??? Or NOW how even after THE MEDIA ITSELF seemed to UNDERSTAND the wrong Don Imus commited...THEY turn around & call someone SO FAR FROM ANY NEGATIVE STERIOTYPE a HO!!!??? But have NEVER called ANY of the WHITE young starlets THAT TERM HO!!?? Even thou people have SEEN THEM screwing EVERYTHING, EVERYONE IN SITE!!!!!??? See despite what they SAY... They really only see us as the negative steriotypes they created & fight SOOOO HARD to keep in place!!! If Michael Richards was soooo aware of the Katrina situation.... Why, HOW could he make the explicitly RACIST remarks in the first place????? That s because no matter how UNAPPLICABLE you are to a NEGATIVE STERIOTYPE..... They STILL only see you as THAT NEGATIVE STERIOTYPE!!!!

Comment: P.S. Why are women so angry at THE BRUTHAS & others for using THOSE TERMS.... BUT not at THEMSELVES for the SAME DAMN USAGE!!! I ve yet to here OPRAH or ANY OTHER WOMEN make ANY commits about THAT!!! As If MEN, THE MEDIA,, Or RAPPERS are the only ones using these terms!!!! Just a reminder, when checkin everybody else...CHECK YO SELF ALSO & FIRST....SISTAS!!!!!!

Comment: Beyonce's outfit looks more like the robot from Fritz Lang's Metropolis than anything else, at least to me. Sorry if this is said somewhere else or even in the original column.
