Comment: FuZZYgoss, You reading my mind. Leanburger or Veggieburger, LOL

Comment: The Queen is my girl, whoever would have thought she would be the multimedia personality she has become. She is an excellent vocalist and actress. But baby, Fatburger? Go figure!

Comment: Fatburger and Queen Latifah just don't go together. This fast food joint serves greasy fat burgers for those die hard fans.

Comment: ....Hmmmm, so I guess she's hanging up her mic...I'm not too suprised she's gonna try her hand at jazz...I don't think she's that great of a vocalist but most of what she's gonna do is talk singing...and she does have the "look"...

Comment: Latifah and Fatburger? The thought of that alone will get burgers moving off the grill. Can you imagine going to Fatburger and saying " may I order some Latifah fries or Big Momma shake! I love the sound of it because we need some Black owned joints here in California...nuff said - hell, Jack is killing people with salmonella burgers a few years ago....remember?

Comment: "Jack was" - grammer challenged this morning!

Comment: Thank you BOOT for speaking the truth about Latifah's singing. On some songs she sounds okay and on other ones she is basically just talking over the melody..to each his own. While I applaud sistagirl's creative endeavors, the last thing we as a community need is another hamburger joint. Once one of these fools files another frivolous lawsuit against Fatburger for contributing to his or her excessive weight gain, she'll see the light! (HA)

Comment: I like what she's doing with these multiple income streams. Go on girl with your big self!

Comment: I think this will be a very nice CD. I liked her Dana Owens CD a lot. Especially the remake of Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band's "Hard Times."

Name: Train
Comment: I like the idea of a Fatburgers joint but with the album I do have one question. Why can't ppl record their own material anymore???? What happened to originality???

Name: lovelylibra
Comment: I hear you, Train; that's why I'm still playing "Albums." Other than Prince, and a just few others, people are musically and lyrically challenged. I'm still hooked on T.S. Monk, Jr. Sadane, Lilo Thomas, etc. I don't think I'll ever stop listening to my collection from the late 70's. The best music era, ever! IMO!

Comment: I would imagine if it wasn't Latifah putting a burger joint in the black community, it would be someone of Arab or Indian descent like most of the fast food joints in Chicago, personally I prefer black owned. Who's to say Latifah won't have Fatburger with healthy choices in addition to their regular fare, I like the fact that she is one of the black entertainers investing her money in our community. It would be good next to have a chain of grocery store since so many neighbors are under serviced.
