Comment: First...Ronald Reagan is not the focus of this article, it is the fact that it was pointed out in one of his speeches that we have unsung heroes that we come across in our everyday lives. These are the people that today our youngsters disrespect or dismiss as being irrelevant in their lives. The patriotism comes from caring about the community and lives surrounding you. Aside from my parents who are my heroes, I also have the old lady that lived down the block that took the time out to scold us kids when are parents weren't close by. IT TAKES A VILLAGE, CITY, STATE, BLOCK, BUILDING to raise a child.
