Comment: I don't believe this! Mr. Hutchinson you could have written about the compassion needed for black drug offenders without ever having mentioned loser lohan! She doesn't even rate a blip on my radar nor do any of the rest of those mindless straw haired moneyed white girls. Let her friends help her and let the black community concern itself with itself. No comparisons are necessary because we know what we need to do and the first thing is to stay outta white hollywierd. If that child wants to stay on that destructive path she's on, dammit that's on her.

Comment: Hmm.. the difference between L. HOhan and poor Black drug offenders: 1. She buys her own drugs and doesn't have to beg, borrow or STEAL to get her hit. 2. She isn't bringing ill repute to her 'race', just her family unlike looser Blacks whom are also paraded on TV. 3. Par for the course for 'Young Hollywood' of PAID Actors - in other words, SHE HAS A REAL DAY JOB.

Comment: I can't believe that Earl feels sorry for Lohan..what a dayum idiot. I could care less and she's suffering from the choices that she made, just like other junkies.

Comment: Train, did you read the whole article?

Comment: SmokeyBones2004..can only shake my head at your response but at least you're consistent.. Train..don't know what article you read but Mr. Hutchinson was certainly not feeling sorry for Lohan..

Comment: I am not holding my breath waiting for bureaucratic compassion for drug offenders . . . the prison-industrial complex likes having the incarcerated bodies which are valuable commodies for performing below-prevailing minimum wage work activities that are profitable for the complex, also, the incarcerated can't vote and have no political voices . . . the incarcerated get counted for Census purposes at the location where they are incarcerated which translates into increased federal dollars to that location rather than the home locations of the incarcerated . . . co-sign McNasty
