Comment: Jilly from Philly has done it again. These are totally different tracks then what she performed during last years Suga Water festival. "Crown Royal on Ice" is really nice!!! She's back with a bang (for all the haters)!! What I love about Jill is that she keeps it moving!!!!

Name: leeneepoo
Comment: Her picture reminds me of Mahogny..not to say that she looks like Di but the attire does

Name: DoctorSmooth
Comment: Hmmm...is this supposed to be a news article... or a public relations piece?

Name: Renetta
Comment: A strong powerful voice that can be delicate and light when she wants it to be. She has FULL range. She is elegant, classy - no shakin her azz, flippin her tit out, just pure class. She is black art personified. She makes me proud. I LOVE HER! I will purchase this cd.

Comment: Finally, some real soul music I can listen to. Love Jill Scott. She is a true artist.

Comment: I heard her new single on the radio the other day; thought it was jammin. btw, she remembles Leontyne Price in that pic

Comment: Love Jill, but ya'll need to check out Keite Young they have a little blurb about him at the bottom of the first page.

Name: silver427
Comment: Co-sign ELSBABY. I can't wait for Keite's CD to come out. It was supposed to come out at the end of July, now it's been pushed back to the end of this month.

Comment: Jill Scott will be the savior of r & b 'cause Lord know that it's on deathbed status. Does anyone know when Maxwell is dropping a new joint??

Name: dcdouglass01
Comment: Yeah, DoctorSmooth, defintiely an ad fashioned as a news piece. But that's a business arrangement between EUR and Jill's record company (same thing happens daily on several BET rap/hip hop shows). But Jill's a talented artist. I have several of her songs on my iPOd and I'm sure more will be added.

Name: Exmun
Comment: Jill Scott is one of very few artists in R&B that I'll go buy the CD without first listening to the entire album. I absolutely love her. Wish I could say that about more "artists."

Comment: Yeah this is a plug piece so......JS cd Collaborations 1 is in my ipod, cd player and on my laptop. 'Said Enough' w/ the Isley Brothers is fyah. But so is Crisette Micheles cd. I just luv, luv, luv 'Mr. Radio'. I'll have to check out Keite Young......o.k I'm shallow *snickers*

Name: MzTee
Comment: I'm glad she's back. I hope this effort is better than her last CD because I was NOT feeling that one at all -- resold that sucka on Amazon (HA). Her first CD is a classic. I still have that one in my CD changer.

Name: DCGG
Comment: I can't wait and MzTee ghurl you trippin that last CD was off the hook...

Name: Gurlfrand
Comment: I loved the first c.d. - the second one was o.k. - she need to get away from singing about food all the time in her songs.

Name: jusrite1
Comment: Gurlfrand: Why? She can sing about anything she wants, last I heard, this is a free country.....and at least she keepin' it real, black folks and food is what we do! I thought her last effort was lovely, with grits, chicken wings, potato salad and all. It's bout time someone sings about sumthin wit a lil' flavor, HA!

Name: indipindintthnkr
Comment: MzTee & Gurlfrand, check out Collaborations 1. Every song is collaborated with a male artist(s); Common, The Isley Bros, Will Smith, Al jareu (sp), George Benson and others. Theres one song, Daydreaming, I don't know the rapper is she collabo with he was up for an award for that song its slammin

Name: arkansasgirl
Comment: indipind, on Daydreaming that's Lupa Fiasco rapping. His not like this other rappers. His first single was Kick Push

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: I never really got into Jill Scott...her Music didn't have enough Soul and she came off as kinda corny...jokin...bring that sweet soul music Ms. Scott. Listening to D'Angelo's live cover of the classic track by The Ohio Player's "Heaven Must Be Like This"..."A place where I can find happiness...Somewhere to rest my aching mind...Where there's no time...Your love is divine"

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: arkansasgirl...Umm that is Lupe Fiasco...Can't wait for his new CD to come my way.

Name: Keys_25
Comment: I LOVE JILL SCOTT she is beautiful and talented...

Name: AngieBee
Comment: Jilly from Philly is one of my favorite singers of recent years. I saw her live at the Hampton Jazz Festival last month. They made the mistake of having her come on before the last jazz band. When her set was done, a lot of people left the concert. She was the best performer on the show and the only reason I wanted to go. I will add this CD to my collection.

Name: indipindintthnkr
Comment: @ soulmusic101, I know exactly what you mean about JS and a lot of her songs. Golden and family reunion all sounded a bit....lacking. which is why Colabo suprised me. It is a complete 180 from other JS eariler work.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: indipindintthnkr...1ST was kool...2nd studio CD was just aiiirght...Live CD was on point...Collobo was fyre...will add lastest CD to the collection, I got a feelin that she will be back on track.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Let me correct myself...the 1st CD was 5 stars out of 5...

Name: Teigh
Comment: Collabotations was not technically a "new" release. This project was made up of all the tracks she performed with other artists on thier respective CD's. None of the tracks are new.
