It's like a game of "Hot Potatoe" but what I find incredibly funny is that all this behavior from two people who were deeply in love and planned a child. Tracey Edmonds are you paying attention. Comment: Crazee, some folks like drama. Case in point: My sister married a man who was divorced with two kids, uneducated, broke and had another woman 8 months pregnant.
She thought she was getting the prize.
Fast forward 13 years. He now has five kids, including my sister's son and daughter. They get good grades, but have poor social skills and manners.
This a.m., I arrived at the office to find a message from my sister. She wanted me to leave work and go over to the Boys and Girls Club to pay my neice's fee so that she could go on a field trip 30 minutes later. Why the delay? My neice was acting up again
(suspended from the school bus a few times last year also)and was initially told that she couldn't go on the field trip. She had gotten into an altercation (she's 9) that resulted in my sister having to write apology letters. At the last minute, they relented and agreed to let her go, but my sister couldn't get off work (unscheduled absences, tardiness, to take the money over there).
I've seen times when I would have dropped everything I was doing and come running, trying to fix things.
Not today. My stress level is low and I intend to keep it that way.

Comment: Seriously, though. To the extent that you can, it is important to provide a safe, stable and nuturing environment for children. That doesn't mean that everyday is going to be Sunday, but we must create a legacy for our children that is not steeped in chaos, drama, fear and dysfunction.
I've always thought the being a good parent was one of the most unselfish things that a person could do. The child's well-being and what is good for him/her has to be the top priority.
All of this foolishness that Mel, Eddie and Stansbury aka Belafonte are engaging in is going to come back to haunt them one day.

To reiterate my posts about Mel B, there are rumors going around that she might have met her match and can be some what shady herself in the way she was trying to get Eddie caught up and get paid. There were articles initimating that ol' girl manipulated it so that she would give birth to her daughter on Eddie's birthday and she more or less was trying to get in the position to be set for life, unfortunately her actual personality got in the way and she wasn't what Eddie thought she was. Anyway the whole thing is a big ol' mess for all involved, should be interesting how it eventually plays out, and we will get all the details and them some since it's Mel B.'s week at EUR.
