Comment: Looks like the Goldmans will be rolling in the dough for a long time. The book will make a big dent in $38 million judgment. The Oprah apearence will push the book to the best sellers list, like all books do that are mentioned on her show.

Comment: People are so full of sh!t....If you buy the book now b/c the Goldman's are going to reap the benefits, it 's no better than if it was OJ himself. People get killed all the time, so why should the Goldmans get special treatment? Oh! I forgot.

Comment: I'm going onto Oprah's website to voice my displeasure with her getting involved in this bu11sh!t. There are many other stories/people she can highlight/interview but turns a deaf ear to. And not once did she bother to bring OJ or any of his family on her show. However, every White person in America will make sure to watch this airing, and I'm sure she could give a damn as to whether or not her Black audience will support her.

Comment: I still contend that there are some things that we shouldn't be that curious about especially considering the very lives of these people! Supahead gives a whole new meaning to 'ho and, well so does oj. The fact that both stories have played out as far as possible (further than either should have) should eliminate any more curiosity. Since neither is gonna tell the truth and shame the devil what is the point?!!

Comment: I just saw the graphic of the book next to the article. Uuum, I don't know how these weirdos can legally name the book, "I did it" and refer to OJ. He could sue them for defamation all day long cuz whether they like it or not, he was found not guilty in the criminal trial. I don't know about the civil suit or even how the civil suit was legally binding, but a good lawyer could easily take them to the cleaners in regards to this tasteless book.

Comment: People will by this crap yet, know nothing about presidential candidates nor their platforms, never read a newspaper, nor have an interest in reading anything with the least bit of intellectual value. Who'll buy this book? All of the Goldman's friends//supporters and the rest of yt U.S. who feel they were done an injustice. The Goldman's have exploited their son and sold themselves as whores on the open market. Disgusting!

Comment: Why is Oprah promoting this ignorance? RATINGS!!! Big fu*king ratings. These nobody people are enjoying the spotlight so much they forgot how the public may perceive this. Shame on the publishing industry, and I'll boycott Barnes & Noble for their hypocrisy. They won't sell the book in stores, but they'll sell it online. I would ask some of you to boycott with me, but I already know that most of you don't buy books because you're too busy reading THIS bullsh*t online... For those of you who still buy/read books, take your business away from Barnes & Noble. Spread the word!

Comment: Anyway, I hope white folks buy billions of copies of this book. I hope the Goldmans make $40 million so they can leave OJ the fcuk alone. Maybe then we can all get some rest from this story. I'm tired of big-headed OJ, I'm tired of this funny-moustache-wearing Jew exploiting the death of his son, and I'm REAL tired of Denise Brown's fake a$$. Sorry Oprah, I won't be watching...

Comment: I guess Oprah learned nothing from that whole James Frey fiasco! Anyway, I wonder where OJ fits into all of this. Honestly, by putting this book out, I would think the Goldsmans are just creating more publicity for OJ, albeit bad publicity but who are we kidding? Bad press is press regardless. It's not like the book can tarnish OJ's reputation because in the eyes of many, he's seen as a killer who got off anyway. What would be real interesting is if OJ tries to bask in the spotligt of this tasteless book to which he's essentially the star...

Comment: All of these years later and Goldman just wants the money- period. I was just in borders and I didn't see the book, although everyone will be selling it online. Sometimes people will buy online what they are ashamed to buy in person, like the book "Ni**er"- written by a Black man. However, it was #50 on the best sellers list and I would have thought it would have done better. But you know who has really been carrying the torch for this whole O.J. thing? Every white woman who has ever had her azz kicked by a Black man or a White man but who refuses to take responsibility for the shyt she got herself into. And they've all wreaked vengeance on poor lil' ol' O.J. because as they all knew- he hadn't fcked a Black woman since...his first wife and that was about 100 years ago. O.J. had a thing when he was in college at USC that said, "No Black women need apply." He is by no means the only one, thought. But it hurt white women's lil' hearts that they were "betrayed" by this Black man. O.J. started dating Nicole when she was 17 and she had her "coming out" party at his house...while Black wife # 1 was in the kitchen crying and doing the dishes. And O.J. has been with fake breasts, fake lipped, fake extension wearing White women ever since. The anger I heard from White women over O.J. was waaay over-sized and every one of their sorry azzes hadn't dealt with their own crap- so let's blame it on O.J.! By the way- what has O.J. ever done for Black people as a huge "thank you" for trying to "go Black" at the last second? Don't all Black stars turn Black suddenly to get our support? Well, for me, that door is closed. And that includes all of the Black activists who secretly date only White women but who show up at important events with a Black woman they wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole. I see it all of the time- and then I see the same men with their White women at a party...

Comment: Sorry TGen. I just thought you forgot about the civil trial. LOL Without sarcasm, I will explain. :-) Civil law suits are private suits between two or more citizens. Civil law is the area of law by which private individuals resolve their differences with the help of the civil courts. Criminal law involves a citizen (or a business) and the state. The rules of the federal government and all individual state governments are codified into statutes. When an individual violates the rules, as listed in the statutes, then the federal government or the state will prosecute the individual. The remedies available in civil courts are generally limited to money damages. The remedies in criminal court may involve a money fine and/or a prison sentence. In the OJ scenario, the state went after OJ on behalf of the government's interest, but every citizen also has the right to pursue remedies for their individual harm.

Comment: I can understand how Denise Brown feels about the profits from the book. I heard from another source that she will not appear with Ron Goldman's father and sister Kim. I wonder if that is true. Either way, it causes one to ponder-- if anyone should profit the brutal slaying of two human beings?

Comment: It's very hypocritical for the Goldmans to blast the book when OJ has it and NOW WANTS YOU TO BUY IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE RIGHTS NOW???? I believe the words used were "disgusting and distasteful?" So tell me Mr. Goldman, why isn't the book disgusting and distasteful now? Shame on anyone for buying this book and shame on Oprah for getting involved in this B.S. Sometimes, one issue or two do not need to be promoted on TV and this is one. Imagine if the situation was reversed and the black man was trying to get profits off a white man's murder spree. He would be called all kinds of names for "opening back up old wounds trying to make a buck."
