Comment: His naivete is refreshing. He's probably a little demon but, I'm looking in the sunny side! I don't condone hating, because I hate my ex- but, sometimes when bad things happen, that serves as a catalyst to take you further. I'm sure he'll never treat a woman the way his step did his mother. I hope he'll mature into an even better man.

Comment: What a refreshing young man. I do hope that he deals with the issue with his stepfather so that it does not taint him in the future. Hope he stays as humble as he sounds in this interview.

Comment: That was a beautiful tribute he gave to MJ the other night, but in order to really hold it down he needs to practice both singing and dancing at the same time and not get winded and be obvious with it. James Brown and Michael were masters at it. I saw Brother Brown do a whole two and half hour set without getting winded and this was while recording a live album! Same for Mike.

Comment: Mothership, I agree with everything you said. Chris is a great dancer, but "longevity" in the MUSIC business means he is going to have to grab that mic and belt one out. I enjoyed his performance the other night and when the Billie Jean music came on, for a second I was thinking the the King Of Pop was about to make an appearance. LOL!

Comment: I don't know what Usher has in store for his fans when he comes back, b/c Chris Brown has set the tone exceptionally high. It was deemed that the little fellow, Omarion was set to where the crown while Usher was on hiatus. However, Chris came in and did the bump on these boys. Neither one can touch him. Ush better get in some major shape (cause he packed on some weight, which looks good on him by the way) but to get at the level he was and/or where Chris is and beyond, OMG....HE BETTER WORKKKK.
>>Showtime, I thought MJ was coming out too as his surprise, instead of Rihanna.

Comment: Chris Brown has at least for me been impressive since the beginning, the fact that he rejected allegedly the record company wanting to make him a rapper because he wanted to sing was cool, whether or not you like him or Neyo they at least want to do music and they are as a word tossed about here,refreshing...

Comment: co-sign mas> it's not necessary for the young man to divulge very personal issues so early in his career. A great many people have or have had childhoods like his, unfortunately. Maybe, like a poster said above, it will cause him to have the utmost respect for women. He's a good dude. He should keep a little mystery about himself.

Comment: Singing and dancing. Sounds simple. But Mike was right when he told Chris few can do it well, i.e. simultaneously, live (no lip synching) and in an entertaining fashion. James Brown could do it. Of course Michael. Prince, Usher, M.C. Hammer. Can Chris Brown do it for a full show? I don't know as I've never seen him live. I nearly added Booby Brown (in his heyday), but Bobby seemed to get winded pretty quickly and would stop singing and simply talk/shout and ask for audience participation to hide the fact that he was out of breath.

Comment: Vonnj funny you would say that! Chris came and bumped omarion and all them little slick head boys off and ursh? will be running to catch up a long time from now. As for him being on MJs level, this boy ain't got nothin' but time on his hands to improve his art - he's not even 20 yet. Granted MiJac is the one and the only, just like James was - it is time now for another and I believe Chris Brown is it.

Comment: I remember when he won at the BET awards and he said when he started he would walk around with a frown on his face. His mother told him he's not a rap artist so he needs to smile more. And he hasn't stop smiling yet. Chris Brown is refreshing (thanks Smokie). Usher is probably somewhere shaking in his boots after Chris's performance.

Comment: Chris Brown is raw and he did his thing at the MTV Awards. I think Michael legacy will live in more than one performer. Usher, Omarion, Chris and countless others are moved by MJ and perfectionist when performing. Go head brotha's I love watching you, not as much as I like watching Michael, but go ahead.
