Comment: I live in New Orleans and thought the show was great!They could've left off the french last names (Dubois, Boulet;we do have common last names here), and the "gumbo party" - not sure where they got that from - but we don't have gumbo parties. I hope everyone continues to watch so that the show will continue to film here. Our city badly needs the revenue. In spite of what you see on TV, we are still struggling to save our city.
Anthony Anderson is fabulous!The passion in his acting - I almost thought he was born and reared here!

Comment: I'm glad that everyone liked it because I enjoyed it too. I hope that it stays on because like EUR stated, it does face some very established and stiff competition next week. Of course, my show HEROES is back, but with the magic of TiVo, I'll tape Heroes and watch K-Ville to give it that Nielson ratings point it deserves. Heroes will be fine in the ratings.

Comment: I also was very impressed with this show and glad I taped it. Fox has a habit of presenting black actors in substantial TV roles, cancelling the series, with no DVD. They don't even show up via itunes.
