Comment: I can understand both sides of the agrument. On one hand you should respect another culture's rules, but on the on hand, if you disagree with that certain aspects of that culture., i.e. the oppression of women, then you should stay away.
Also, in terms of the US, while it can be argued that we should have higher standards, I would not be comfortable with the government setting those stardands. Who afterall gets to define the stardands? There are plenty of so called religious people in this country who would have all women back in hoop skirts and blouses up to the neck

I'm sure they (Muslims) know of her performances that's why they sent her a list of demands. It was up to her to develop a show around their requests. A little wardrobe change wouldn't cost that much and to save on expenses she could have easily used that same show in all of her Muslim dominated markets. It's all about respect. American's are a trip we want to go into other countries and do our thing but when that guy from Iran (the President I forget his name) came to our country no one wanted to hear what he had to say (geesh).

Some men equal sex with the best part of a woman and vice versa, simply means they were not taught well or if they were taught different, they chose to go a different way. Even the story of Adam and Eve was still a story of freewill and Adam freely ate the apple as well, they were BOTH told what to do by God. Anyway, for your comments last week it was black men that were horrible, this week it is women that caused the ruin of modern civilization. I get the impression you don't like much of anyone, but probably it's simply as you said last week, it is only what you read and see around you---your world must be pretty dismal. For the story at hand, Beyonce decided it wasn't worth it, so for her it was a good choice, I'm sure it won't effect her pocket book and I'm sure Malaysian can just listen to her records, although with all the strict rules I can't even imagine them being allowed to listen to her music considering some of the content.

Comment: I have performed in Malaysia and they are no joke. Our first night there the officials were in the house and made us stop the show and put on more clothes. That is why now, they restrict you before you get on stage. Its better she either complies or not perform there at all. Just go to Singapore, which is close by, then the fans can come there to see her.
