Many, Many parents think they know but they don't, can you PROVE your child is in school right this moment? Young adults sometimes will take the consequences to do what they want, yeah there are those kids who will take an azz whipping or punishment to do something they want today and will think of the aftermath later. Think about when they notifiy you that your kid didn't come to school for example, could be hours later from the time they actually didn't appear for attendance or whatever, that's two hours of underage drinking, drugging, screwing, shoplifting or what ever other dirty deed they may do before you even know there's a problem. There are so called fast kids whose parents swear they are perfect because perhaps they get the fast clothes after mom and dad go to work, perhaps they still get really good grades, perhaps they said they were going to the library, you dropped them off to pick them up an 1 1/2 later they sneak out and return in time to get the ride home. Just saying, a lot of parents honestly don't know their children as well as they think, that's why we still have to have safeguards out there when their little minds think they are grown, want to do grown things unbeknowst to their parents, so that regardless of what they want to do, there is no adult willing to buy liquor for an underage kid for a couple of dollars, there is no old azz perv out there waiting to screw some young silly 13 year old, that's why we have laws to be a safeguard. That's why when they do violate the laws, they should be in trouble not blaming a silly child who thinks she know what she's doing as opposed to a grown man who definately knows what he is doing.
