Comment: Hate on J. T. all you want but when the CD FutureSex/LoveSongs 1st debuted in the market it was like Whoa when I 1st listened to the entire CD. Timberland and J.T created a sonic masterpiece. Ginwine and M.J would have loved to have recorded "Until The End Of Time" and the track was banging with or without Be. I didn't think that he could top his 1st Solo CD but he outdid himself and put his heart and Soul in that one. That CD was J.T.'s "Off The Wall" which in my opinion was one of the greatest CD's of all time. The track is like an updated "The Lady In My Life"..."Don't you go no where, stay with me...Ohh Gurl let me keep you warm....

Comment: And all you Musicologists...yes I know that "The Lady In My Life" was the last track on the Quincy Jones Project "Thriller".

Comment: PUH-LEEEZE....EURWEB, how many times a week are you going to have these articles about Justin TimberFAKE? i bet if all these BLACK entertainers, producers, etc, put all their effort in a young black new talent like Melidna Doolittle, or someone like that, the project would be slammin, BUT we all know, because its a pale-face, FOLKS are buying it, thinking he is the 2nd coming of the late great Sammy Davis, Jr. .....remember the line from public enemy's Fight The Power: Elvis was a hero to most,,,etc.

Name: goodnplenty1957
Comment: .....and just like the quote in the movie STANDING IN THE SHADOWS OF MOTOWN..because of the talent of the producers, musicians, etc..you could have put Deputy Dog in front of them with a mike and the songs would have been a hit.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: goodnplenty1957...ummm they did try to help Omarion but J.T.'s CD was better... sorry to poke a hole in the fantasy. Elvis never hung out with his Black producer.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: So just becuz Steeley Dan, Hall & Oates, Robin Thicke, and Fleetwood Mac were White I can't enjoy their talent's???? GTF outta here....

Name: goodnplenty1957
Comment: soul...NEVER did i say anything about ALL white artists. YOU are the one saying i am against ALL white artists. it was just like at motown, ANYONE could have singed in front of those musicians and the song would have been a hit. but it is still and always will be a VISUAL media. ..for the record..i listened to and STILL listen to everyone of those artists you mentioned except robin thicke, i dont think ONE cd makes an artists, THREE-SIX MAFIA one an Academy Award, but look at the subsequence cd's. thicke's cd is probably good, i never bought it. lets see what his sophomore CD does and see if he is just a one-hit wonder. ...so you are probably saying i dont shouldnt enjoy BONEY JAMES, DAVE KOZ, TEENA MARIE, AVERAGE WHITE BAND, TONY BENNETT, etc because they are WHITE?????? man give me a break.

Comment: I'm not hatin', I just can't stand that nappy-headed white boy. He doesn't do it for me, along with Tina Marie for that matter. AWB, Tony Bennet are "classic" talents, white or black.

Comment: who cares if justin hangs out with his black producer? what is that supposed to mean? justin is the Elvis of today and always will be look at usher his confesions album was 10 times better than justins it even sold more but who did the media claim as the new king of pop? justin and why do you think that is? because he is there great white hope

Comment: Justin Timberlake skates free while Janet Jackson is left to write books about her weight. Why does America/Corporations pushes white artist that sounds black.Amy Winehouse is from the U.K., but she has copied Lauryn Hill's vocal style(I bet money she does not sound like that).Justin is faking and I can't stand Timberland for leaving his friends like Ginuwine behind.Push him all you want to, I still do not like him.Another thing,I thought Robin Thicke was some type of "helper"because people sang his praises for days....Until I finally heard him sing live without studio aids. "They take the style and leave the community out in the cold.smh

Comment: I'm reading alot of hate on this board. I hated at on Justin at one time myself, until I listened to his music. I consider myself to be a tough music critic, not easily excited by what most consider to be hot. I have a newfound respect for Justin after listening to this album. He's very gifted. It's time to stop hatin when you know in your heart you've never even listened to his album, maybe never heard any of em. Justin being white has nothing to do with his musical gifts. I'm a 33 year old black man in the DC metro area. I dj here in clubs on weekends. I love music. I know music. He is one guy that I believe is deserving of the praise he gets. Justin and Timbaland make a mean musical tandem... vicous.. Now on to the Beyonce remix, ummmmm I actually think she sounds HORRIBLE on this particular song. The original version is so much better. I'd rather have heard a giant female voice on this record. Beyonce can sing, sometimes, but she doesn't have a big voice... Mariah or Jennifer Hudson would have really blew this remix away...

Comment: Dr.KnowItAll, I was with you until the Beyonce slight. Lord knows I'm not a Beyonce fanatic, don't own any of her cd's, don't really like any of her songs that well, and usually turn the station when they come on (cuz they're played soooo much, lol). But I can't take away from her talent. I think she sounds great on the "End of Time" remix, honestly. And on Timberlake, I reeeeallly dislike how one or two Whites are ordained honorary "Black" and are basically thrust down the throats of the traditional R&B crowd...but again, I can't take anything away from Timberlake's talent either. He sounds very good on "End of Time," so much so I didn't even recognize that was him for a long while. Plus, I remember seeing him a long while ago perform a capella on some awards show with NSync and he BROUGHT IT. Yep, dude is the real deal. Not my "great White hope," lol, but he's got "it."

Name: JGGIRL
Comment: Why would you need a big voice on this song? They would have blown Justin's soft voice away. I think the remix sounds just fine and evidently so do the fans since it jumped so high after being out for so long on its own and not getting there.

Name: andryce76
Comment: until justin gets 5 number 1 hits off one album wait until any other artist get 5 number 1 hits on an album he's still in mikes shadow lol

Comment: JT stole Ginuwine's swagger and producer. lol, but I have to admit, I do like this CD. I watched JT's concert on HBO and i have to say, HATED IT.

Name: musbdherbs
Comment: Damn B, you get on the song and it moves the charts like that? I hear dat hot shyt! The song is arrestingly atrocious. She sounds as she normally does and so does he. BUT, together, it's a B-Angie-B-Juicy Got You Crazy- sweat stains underarmed-HOT AZZ MESS!! It's simply horrible. He sounds like he's panting the whole song and so does she. Two panters don't make it right. It just doesn't. WTF?

Name: musbdherbs
Comment: I much prefer the Ne-yo/Hudson duo as BAD as that one is.

Comment: Top 40, try Top 10, RN1814. enuf said.

Comment: FiveMore...I was feelin that way at 1st about the Janet/Jackson controversy but JT issued a statement later on that was real. I still secretly played his 1st Solo CD becuz I appreciate good production's from Timbaland and the Neptune's. Will have to wait 3 year's to see what JT and Timbaland do next. Hopefully L.A.. Reid can bring Janet back when her CD drop's. I still bump "Got's Til It's Gone", "Anytime, Anyplace" ( R. Kelly remix and Original) and "I Get So Lonely" (Teddy Riley Remix and the original). Speakin of Teddy, time to listen to Guy's 1ST CD.

Comment: Justin TimberLake = Culture Bandit.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: goodnplenty1957...We can agree on something...I listen to all the White Artist's you just mentioned. But this is Robin Thicke's 2ND CD, not 1ST. I will add The Eagle's "I Can't Tell You Why" and Bruce Hornsby "That's Just The Way It Is (Something's Never Change) to the list. Also currently listening to SliverChair's "Straight Lines". Oh and don't get it twisted, even J.T. will tell you he can't hold M.J.'s and Al Green's jockstrap but Dude is holding his own with his talent's. Oh and I do prefer the original version of "Til The End Of Time" over the Remix.

Name: DrKnowItAll
Comment: TGen. I actually own Beyonce's first cd which is a certified classic in my opinion. I want to hate on Beyonce but I can't. She is talented but lets be real.. She is not a brilliant singer. A great total package, yes, but not a GREAT voice. I just didn't like her sound on this particular remix, and a few other records, but overall I am a fan. Also like you, I had no idea Justin was singing this song the first time I heard it. I was very surprised. It made me go buy the album, and then his first album as well. I always liked the NSync song "Gone" but never gave dude a chance as a solo artist.. He's official.. No disrespect to Beyonce. She's just "spotty" with her voice to me..

Name: goodnplenty1957
Comment: ok soulmusic,,it was thicke's 2nd CD..what did his first one do?? who produced it? ,,lastly back to timberFAKE. isnt when TWO people perform its a DUET? where did SOLO come from? i guess BEYONCE voice dont count...if anyone should be getting the props its TIMBALAND. MJ performed the songs,,but Quincy got just as much pub.

Comment: Also don't sleep on up and coming Kevin Michael new Cd. Kevin has worked with Wyclef, Q-Tip, and Lupe Fiasco. His voice is on point and the lead off track is "We All Want The Same Thing". Hip Hop meets Soul is the best way to describe his sound. Also if you can find the MixTale for J. Holiday, get it and his new CD "Back In The "Lac" stay's in rotation. Oh somebody mentioned Amy Winehouse, despite the personal issues if you see her Live, her Vibe will seduce you. She will get nominated at The Grammy's, remember you heard it here 1st. It would be a shame if Kevin Michael is slept on at the Grammy's in 2008, his debut sound's like a Vet that has been in the game for awhile.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Just because an Artist's 1ST CD doesn't sell a Million don't mean he ain's nothin. Robin has been behind the scenes paying his due's for a minute writing for Mary J, Usher and other's. Michael Jackson and his Brother's were considered washed up than "Shake Your Body Down To The Ground" and "Enjoy Yourself" let the World know that this ain't a comeback. Madonna 's 1ST CD set on the shelf for 9 month's than the rest was history. I could name many other examples if I had the time but Class will resume after Lunch...jokin.

Name: soulmusic101
Comment: Good...mostly written and produced by Robin...Pharrell loved it and signed Robin to his label for his 2nd CD.

Name: JGGIRL
Comment: Goodplenty, Til the End of Time with Beyonce is a "remix" of the original which was Justin doing the song solo. It had started to slip on the charts until the duet with Beyonce came out and now it is climbing again.

Comment: This isn't just about JT's lack of talent but what has been passing for talent lately. My question is a simple one. What became of the true recording artist? I’ll begin with the singers. From what I’ve been hearing for the past couple of decades, most of them haven’t had formal vocal training. They’ve all been sort of imitating each other, which is not a good thing. They have been hearing this imitation of talent for so long that they have convinced themselves that it really is singing. If you were to put these same singers on a corner with a cup, most of them would starve because without the drums, b%*$ line, and back up vocals, their voice alone just won’t entertain. Most of the male singer’s just sort of mumble while singing through their nose, and hit a little high note once in a while for no reason. The females just try to be sexier than the last singer. When they perform live, they tend do much more choreography in the performance than singing. When you hear the recordings, the background singer’s actually do carry most of the song while the star just does a sort of vocal exercise. It's not all their fault though, because the consumers have the last word, and they keep settling for mediocore.

Comment: When Crank dat Souljah Boy is the #1 song in the country while Jill Scott barely gets played, it tells you the real state of music today. At least Beyonce is both a singer and entertainer and I know because I was right there at the concert up close!
