Comment: Has anyone noticed that Halle no longer does movies opposite a African-American Man anymore nor does she have any AA's as a love interest.Why is that?I personally stopped watching her movies after I stumbled onto Monster's Ball and I witnessed the Sex scene with Billy Bob.I was totally disgusted,now I know some movies have love scenes,but rarely are our sistah's with white men.I thought I was watching a Porno.All that do decide to see this movie,pls.enjoy!Peace and Blessings!

Comment: Gingerg, I went to see the movie tonight. Jerry (Benicio) literally SLEEPS with Audrey (Halle) because she is missing her husband and the way she used to fall asleep with him rubbing her earlobe. There is no SEX between Jerry and Audrey in the movie at all. The movie will certainly be up for an Oscar nomination and so will Halle. She brought tears to my eyes. (And I don't cry easily.) I think some of us need to cut Halle a teeny weenby bit of slack vis-a-vis her love interests and not forget that she is BI-racial. The racial identity of her characters' love interests is not only up to HER. The people who are in charge want to make MONEY off her movies. They want to appeal to the MAINSTREAM, not just to the preferences of us black folk.
