Comment: This dermatologist I went to a few times had his name listed on her website for plastic surgery...I see the name is no longer there...wonder if it was just removed or removed some time before.

Comment: Did she do HER homework? You just don't pick them out of the yellow pages. Why didn't some of the nurses/other people in the operating room intervene. Why didn't the family question the length of this surgery. Heck, a open heart surgery doesn't even take that long.

Comment: kidfree, that was the same question I was asking. This doctor is no different from any of the white doctors. Most doctors have had some type of lawsuit filed against them. It'd be different had several people died as a result of his work. They're going to bring up stuff from probably medical school on this guy. Such a procedure requires a lot of homework. When we hired a lawyer for the guardianship on my nephew, I interviewed and checked several backgrounds. One lawyer turned had been disciplined by the CA state bar. The one we chose was awesome! What happened to Kanye's mom is a very unfortunate situation but its business as usual. You would think that after looking at Lil Kim's multilated face, people would run from plastic surgery but they don't. I didn't realize how bad Janet Jackson really destroyed her face until I saw her in WDIGM.

Comment: As I said earlier this morning on the other Donda...Heart Attck posting. It only takes a second to find information about Drs on the computer. I googled Dr. Adams this morning and found out that he had to pay almost $500,000 in damages to two different clients b/c of malpractic. It's sad, maybe if she had did her homework and listened to the first doctor that told her "NO" about the surgery she would be still here. Because of vanity she died.. At almost 60, although yes you want to look good...who cares if you have a body of a 21 year old??

Comment: piecing out this type of story does more harm for public information than good . . . I hope that people learn from this sad event . . . the second opinion from the second cosmetic surgeon over-rode the opinion of the first cosmetic surgeon . . . sadly, Dr. West didn't take the well-intended recommendation of the first cosmetic surgeon to see an internist about the health concern that he had observed and that she needed to follow through on for safety's sake

Comment: I think at this point it's hard to say if the Dr. is at fault. All surgical procedures have some risk. Even a good Dr. will have patients who will have complications or might die.

Comment: Quack, quack, quack, quack. Something in the milk ain't white. How can he say he had nothing to do with her death and it was caused by other things. Yes, she had pre-existing medical conditions--those are the other things that caused her death. That is why he should have agreed with the first surgeon instead of seeing dollar signs. How about if he knew she had pre-existing health problems and he just saw dollar signs --- why couldn't he do one surgery at a time. She may have still died or she may have lived. But at least it would have seemed like the doctor cared. Homework, what the hell are you people talking about homework. People go to the doctor everyday and you never know if you are talking to a quack. You are probably just lucky that nothing has happened to you. I really believe that Mrs. West wanted to treat herself to something but never in a million years thought it would wind up like this. By him being on television and everything and highly recommended she thought she was getting a good second opinion and she never knew she was actually dealing with a drunken quack.

Stephanie, I don't blame the Drs for Lil Kim's face, she got way too much work done. she search until she found someone that wouldn't say no to her. Just like Micheal Jackson. No human should look like that unless they were %*$aulted or burned in a fire!!

Comment: Well if he didn't do anything wrong he is going to wish he had after Kanye gets through with him. I would not nwant to be in his shoes. This is just sad.
