Comment: The followers of all these folk should take notice of this. If you have nothing to hide, you hide nothing. Clearly, Meyers has nothing to hide and said, "Sure. Here they are. Now let's get back to the business of bringing people to Christ." But Dollar, Long, White, Hin and Copeland are hiding something. All this talk of religious freedom is bunk. What they want is the freedom to continue their lavish lifestyles at the expense of the Christian faith. Why do I say this? Because when a religious leader acts like these so-called ministers, he/she makes non-believers who could become believers too skeptical to join the faith. That is why I can't stand stuff like this. You can't spread the Word of God when you are serving 2 masters - really serving one that is materialism.

Comment: I agree. I know if I was a Pastor, I'd give them the records whether the law protected me or not. I'd make the government look stupid, not myself guilty.

Comment: Now I'm no scholar but I recall that of the 22 parables in the bible 16 of them are about finances and no where in those parables or within the pages of the Bible, or in the words of God or Jesus Christ is there anything about hiding (anything!!!) -- the overall theme is transparency and as queeniebunz stated if you have nothing to hide you hid nothing. If you are Christian you are in the world but not of the world however this request is an opportunity to show the world just how God's system works....but then again as my Pastor recently said "Just like the world needs correction (subprime mortgage mess, etc.) the body of Christ needs correction (Juanita Bynum, Randy & Paula White, Eddie Long & Creflo Dollar mess)too. The God I know, when you least expect it will allow you to be in a situation to show you who & what you are. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Comment: tHIS IS NOT ABOUT HIDDING NOTHING, JOYCE MEYER NEED THE PEOPLE SHE HAD TO TURN IT OVER, THE GOVERMENT IS NOT TO BE OVER THE LORD HOUSE, THE SAME GOVERMENT WHO WILL NOT HOUSE THE FATHERLESS OR HELP THE ELDER PEOPLE, THE SAME GOVERMENT WHO TOLD COMPANY TO CHECK EVERYONE BACK GROUND AND DRUGS TEST WORKER AND LETTHEM GO THE SAME GOVERMENT WHO LET MEXICO PEOPLE TAKE OVER THIS COUNTRY WENT TO SEE AND BE OVER THE LORD HOUSE. IS GOD A CHICKEN OR CAN HE NOT HANDLE THE GOVERNMENT THIS IS WRONG, I WOULD SAY THEY TO THE PASTOR ARE WRONG FOR LIVING LARGE AND THERE MEMBER ARE HOMELESS AND OUT OF WORK HOW CAN U SLEEP IN A LARGE HOUSE AND THE CHURCH GOD GAVE U THE PEOPLE ARE HOMELESS OR SLEEPING IN A CAR THE MENS ARE WEAK IT SO MUCH GOD NEED TO SHOW UP FOR ALL NOT JUST SOME PEOPLE, THE WORLD IS SO UNBALANCE THAT IS WHY PEOPLE ARE KILLING AND DOING ANYTHING TO CARE FOR THERE FAMILY CAN'T GET A JOB BECAUSE OF BACK GROUND CHECK, PASTER LIVING LARGE AND DON'T CARE WHEN WILL THE GOD OF THIS MESS CLEAN UP THIS MESS BLESS THE PEOPLE NOT JUST A FEW OF THEM MOST OF THEM
