Comment: Bow Wow really hasn't transitioned into an adult entertainer. He was more of a novelty in my opinion. He's struggling to hand on to an audience and still stay relevant (as darn near every disposable R&B act is today). If he's smart he'll follow in line with the kriss kross kids, hopefully they made some good investments because you don't see them looking for attention. Bow Wow is getting major exposure from this Chris Brown tour -- if he's smart he'll focus on that and stop with the hissy fits.

Comment: Can't see the video, but if someone was interviewing me and yawning, checking me, etc., they'd most likely get a little push back as well. These joke shows (Punk'd, Hell Date, etc.)often go a little too far in trying to get a laugh at the victim's expense.

Comment: Having now viewed the video, I can see how Bow Wow went off. The point at which you could see the bytch in him behind the twinkle in his eye was when he kept on about hollerin at Big D and Big who-in-the-fug-ever else he was talking about. I think like they said Omarion explained in the article that he may have a chip on his shoulder about not getting respect like he wants it. Because Bow could have really handled it better once he left the interview room.

Comment: But back to this talk about Punk'd and such. Whenever my wife and I flip past one of these shows, we're like, only 25/20s find this sh!t amusing. Because it really only boils down to embarrassing somebody and then laughing at their expense. Like, when Ashton did the thing with Halle Berry at the premiere of one of her movies, saying she couldn't get in cause she wasn't on the guest list. That wasn't funny and if I was a bodyguard, somebody may have had to get mashed.

Artists are so easily offended when YOU work so damn hard to get there and then someone steps in and says ugly things about you or your work. It IS personally offensive.
Even if its a joke, some idiot or fans will take it to heart. Put the junk on Media Take-out where it will become a wild fire rumor.
Next, they will say bow wow has beef with wayne because of the chain, and then shootings will happen and we will blame hip hop music.
its called lack of creative ideas and/or writing. BET needs to get some talented people in charge and stop making a "black" version of every reality show out there.
That shows the type of trust we put in black leadership. Stop watching the BS on BET, boycott their white owned, uncle tom steppin top executives.
Then they will letting Blacks be portrayed in a negative light.
It's not the hip hop game causing "Black on Black" crime. It's the owners calling the shots to the black executives who ridicule other blacks (rappers) for NOT being so highly educated.
Its their jealousy that a brother without a college degree is making 3 times more money than they are by spitting rhymes.
Stop being brainwashed black people. Support things that really represent our culture and our creativity.

What would have been Punk is if he had grinned "kissed up" as if none of it was said. We have gotten so accustomed to disrespect that we feel anyone who stands up for themselves is a "B-word". There is something very wrong with that. Bow Wow reacted the way most men in that situation would have. He took out his phone because the man was yawning and disrespecting he and O. So, he showed him what being disrespected felt like. These shows are akin to the rest of the self-inflicted death blows that we send ourselves. The question we need ask is WHY do we do these things to ourselves? And the title of this article proves my point... unable to take a joke? Let's see them get ambushed and respond passively.

Comment: First of all, their label set them up with the interview so someone behind the scenes in Bow Wow's camp knew about it. As soon as things started to go wrong his people should have stepped in and explained it. Second, Bow Wow did act immature because the first thing he tried to do is have is bodyguard do bodily harm to Toure', if he is a "grown man" that's not how you handle conflict, what Toure' said and did to Omarion did not constitute a fight. This dumb stuff goes back to the whole "east coast/west coast" drama, "I'm not gonna be disrepected" crap. Omarion is a man and he was right there, he could have stood up for himself. If Bow was so offended all he had to do is say "I don't like the way this interview is going, I think you are disrespecting my boy and I'm out." That's it. Why is he ready to fight about it and act like a twelve year old. Grow up Little Bow Wow, I'm sure there are gonna be more serious disagreements than this you are going to have in the future and this is how you are gonna react one day you are gonna end up dead or in jail. Ask Tupac, Biggie, C-Murder, R Kelly, Snoop, Emeniem, TI etc.....

it's called ettiquete: a concept that is lost on today's entertainers. in this biz you're bound to run into a-hole reporters (whether real or spoofed). these young celebs need to be taught how to handle themselves gracefully during interviews, even if they disagree with the questions or don't like the reporter.

Everyone can be pushed to the limit -- even the most urbane, sophisticated, professional person -- given the right circumstances.
