Comment: I had hoped that the allegations against Chris Stokes were not true. At the same time, I also hoped that Raz B was not lying. Being accused of being a child molester is worse than being accused of murder. Once you're labeled a pedophile, you're marked for life even if you're proven innocent. If Raz wanted to get back at Stokes, there are other ways to do that (not that it's right) than to accuse him of sexual misconduct. I would also like to address something that Stokes said. He made a statement about being married, having children, and not being gay. One of the most common stereotypes about homosexuals is that they are gay. Most pedophiles are not. It doesn't matter that he is married and has children. Many pedophiles (men) are straight and claim to love children. Many of them are have wonderful relationships with children. They have to in order to gain their trust. They are predators. Someone mentioned yesterday about parents selling out their children so as to make a few bucks. Like I said, these people are predators. They are so good that yes, most times the parents don't know either. Yes, parents should watch their children closely, but you can't be everywhere with them. My best friend was molested by our band teacher for two years. Her parents didn't know until he finally got caught. You can't ALWAYS blame the parent. I pray that this all works out for everyone. If the allegations prove to be true, Chris Stokes needs to rot in jail. If not, then may God have mercy on Raz B.

As for Raz B, notice how he continues to say, "I'm not gay," yet his career post B2K has been filled with appearances in gay-themed events: concerts at gay events, appearance on a gay-themed TV show. Someone may have turned Raz B out (perhaps forced or not forced-especially if he was a teenager) and Raz B is in denial because being young, black, masculine and gay is "not cool" in hip-hop. Raz B may in fact be gay - notice how "hard" he and his brother are acting on those videos - excessive profanity, excessive use of the "n" word - as if it's almost an act. Chris Stokes may also be gay, masquerading as a "devoted" husband and father. Yet, Chris Stokes holds all the cards because financially he can sue the pants off a destitute Raz B. Omarion and Marques Houston have to save their careers. Notice how Omarion is not reaching out to Raz B to get to the bottom of this. I agree with Brettino's posting - just as Keith Sweat said "Something Just Ain't Right."

Comment: To me, it boils down to the predator's fault; but we should all be aware of putting our children at risk. Children need to be taught life lessons to keep up with this fast world where the money and the power is a helluva powerful drug. Predators need to get help; people who know molestors/predators need to give them up; children need to be taught how to behave themselves responsibly when they are out in the world, if for nothing else, to protect themselves against people who may abuse their relationships to do unseemly things to them. We should not be embarrassed or afraid to break the cycle that has permeated society for years. Interestingly enough, when an oppressed people finally attains "power", they usually will take on some of the attributes of the oppressor and begin to oppress others in the same manner in which they were oppressed. That's why no one wants to relinquish power. Our children need to be taught how to protect themselves before we put them out there in the world among people who do not all have morals, values and ethics. Pastors, teachers, doctors, mothers, singers, dancers, gospel singers, uncles, cousins, priests are all capable of engaging in anti-social behavior. Let's just protect the children if we can't control the free will of adults.

I believe what he said initially was the truth - no one makes that kind of filth up. Comment: I'm sorry. This "confession" seems forced. It comes on the heels of a threatened lawsuit and God only knows what other kinds of threats. This kind of allegation would cut into the accused's money train and would make him a pariah among his peers. I think Raz is trying to stay alive. The original allegation also would cast a dark cloud over other young male artists in the accused's stable. And for the record, being married and a father never stopped other predators from hurting children. It only gave them a cover. Many times a perp's own children were also victims. For example, if Latoya is to be believed, you can tell your story when you feel it's safe to do so and not be taken seriously. So, the predator wins again? Whenever a victim comes forward they are taking a chance. To make this kind of allegation is serious... it outs the perp AND you, as victim. I don't think it was done as a prank. But it's always one person's word against another. Sadly, the hurt child is not listened to most of the time. It's why they don't come forward. The usual defense is to discredit the accuser. I'm not surprised at the Bipolar rumor. We will have to wait and see the outcome.

You don't have to open the watermelon for me to see the seeds on this one! This is truly tragic. A travesty unfolding right in front of our eyes, with our people. Sexual abuse is nothing to play with and I do believe, if this were young girls launching allegations against someone, more attention would be paid to this. In my Criminal Justice classes, we learned two things about predators: First, if they are male, they generally gravitate to males, because they often mirror what happened to them. Secondly, they look for an OPPORTUNITY/VULNERABILITY combined. Hence that is why children (particularly children in their charge) are susceptible. Here was this man, trusted with these young boys, and he prematurely exposed them to innumerable acts that were inappropriate at the least, and abusive and exploitative at the most.
I believed the first story, as well as the other stories that have been circulating the web for far too long. There have been stories floating around for YEARS about Chris Stokes. YEARS. I hope it doesn’t end with this recanting. Truly, truly tragic.

If Stokes got his hands on you OR if you are lying...there's a problem that appears to be coming to the surface. Why sue?! If you KNOW it's not true, where is the justice? Letting everyone know the allegation is false should be enough, why go for blood? To me it resembles the allegations of MJ back in the day. Omarion is coming to Chris defense because he doesn't want his fans to know that "a man" touched him in any manner. He doesn't want his fans to think he is gay or bi- sexual, b/c ultimately when Raz made those accusations against Chris he included B2K and Immature too. O knows that if his fans saw him in any type of way other than being a "sex symbol" (for what it's worth) that his record sales would drop tremendously! But who knows? We may see O. Public awareness brings an investigation, and that will outweigh any amount of money or power that Chris has. I have seen and heard of so many things that are okay in the entertainment industry, that I could even believe that Chris' wife knew it and just remained for the money and because most people in the industry are gay or bi-sexual, which Chris has alleged to be openly bi-sexual but not gay, and allegations have always persisted. In Hollywood, none of this is taboo, only to the fans who can make or break a career. You would be surprised at the things a lot of entertainers have had to do or go through in order to achieve success. The casting couch does not only apply to women. Chris & his team have obviously bullied Raz into re-canting his story, but public trials can often be more fierce than a legal trial, and a public trial can prompt an investigation, which is necessary for closure.

Comment: About 4 years, I met a guy here in L.A. who was a backup dancer for B2K. Omarion has a gay brother and this guy was dating him. He showed me intimate pictures of the two of them together, some with them and Omarion, and some with rest of the group. He had furniture in his apartment that was paid for by Omarion's brother. There was nothing to suggest the actual members of B2K were gay; only Omarion's brother. Looking at those pictures, no one seemed to mind. My point is that there was some type of same-sex activity going on in that camp. Now whether or not it was being forced on members of the group is questionable, but no one seemed to be bothered by these two guys.

Comment: I believe the accusations. Raz B retracted for legal reasons, IMO. If Stokes is that way, I can only imagine who else he could have been with outside his family. I've heard some stories from industry people about the goings ons in Hollyweird. It's twisted over there.
