Comment: Hhhhmmmm! That YouTube clip wasn't long enough for me to past judgement on this production. I certainly hope it's not another "chit'lin circuit" stageplay - we already have plenty of those. I'll "hold off" on my critique until I actually see it.

Comment: The thing I do not like about the Steve Harvey Show when it comes to Nephew Tommy is, he tries to act just like Steve on the show when most of us can harldy take Steve by hisself. The second thing I don't like about the show in general is, it seems it is nothing more than a tool or instrument to sell his and Steve's concerts and plays and that's it.
That premise alone is like a smack in the face to the audience listening. It's basically "let me hawk my goods." Also I find Nephew's Tommy's Prank Calls to be over the top and ignorant. They go too far for a laugh to me on too many occasions.

Comment: Oh well, I am sure most of you negatively speaking judgmental naysayers know it all. As for me, I saw Tommy's comedy show and laughed my behind off. I've also seen Steve Harvey's comedy show and the two are nothing alike. I can't wait to go and see the play. I am proud to see a brother stretching out and doing something different. I will support him!

Comment: 'stretching out and doing something different'...???...this is hardly out of the norm. I'm going to flip if I EVER see us put on an actualy dramatic play and not just another, chitlin ciruit play based on our struggle, pain or situtation only we go th'ough. Comedy plays are so played to me. When will we stop the madness and see that even though we've been through some things there are other ways to tell our story. Yes, comedy does make us feel better BUT the delivery is actually buffoonic.....there, I said it.

Comment: NdueCzon, I agree with you. I used to LOVE Steve Harvey, until I met that bastard IN PERSON. It was during a DVD autographing of his movie "Don't Trip, He Ain't Through With Me Yet." I was SO sorry I showed up and spent money on it. Thank goodness Tommy was there to pick up the slack. He was VERY gracious and has star QUALITY.
