Comment: The only thing funny about this story was all the typos IN the story. Can you all spell COMPOSITION? GRAMMAR? SPELLCHECK?

Comment: I don't know what the big hype is with this dude anyway. He is NOT funny. He wasn't funny at the movies and wasn't funny at award shows. I guess black people just love his pimped out thuggish look or something. But dude is definitely overhyped. I'm not surprised by this story developement.

Name: Cappaucino
Comment: I agree with you robijoa dude is not funny. I only liked him in the last Friday movie (I know it was garbage) but I thought that was the only time he was funny. He is definately not stand up material.

Comment: I had thought about going to the concert and went to Watch Service instead. Guess that was indeed the right move!

Name: sweetpea
Comment: I don't find his humor funny at all.

Comment: I think Katt is funniest as a sidekick in movies. I recently caught part of what I think was pimp chronicles. I'm glad I didn't see it from the beginning - while it was funny he too justifies slangin' bytch and 'ho around and I don't like that his comedy makes black men seem like they aspire to do nothing more than pimp women. I'm not even going to speak on his abundant use if nicca.

Comment: This dude has had more disappointing shows lately...It must bee him. I don't think he is funny. And as far as him being high? Of couse he was, that is what took him so long to come out he was getting crunked. Yall know that fool ain't about to give know money back. He need them coins. He's damn near a midget.

Comment: Don't throw me under the bus but, who is this guy? Was he the slimey guy in that video with Andre 3000?

Name: khufu
Comment: forget him..i want to know more about Kendra G

Comment: This isn't surprising. That little rascal isn't even remotely amusing. I wouldn't pay a penny to see him if he was performing in my driveway.

Name: Luke_Cage
Comment: fist bumping khufu. I hear you talking brotha... Dayum.

Comment: Yo...I thought some of his material was funny as he11...especially the Pimp Chronicles sh1t...I was rolling but then he fucc'ed up with the noose 'round his neck sh1t...Not funny...Yo, if you watch the promos for the new Ice Cube flick you'll see that Katt gets a lot of face time...He was on CP time showing up late and high is par for the course...Did you really expect him to be on time and straight?...fucc that...The only comedian on time is Jerry fuccing Seinfield...Sh1t even Doc Cosby is late...He has to blast muthfuccers and fondle wimen and sh1t then he goes on stage...I'm still waiting for the Prince and Katt project...They can call it the Pimp and the Pop star...It would be a revamping of the Prince and the Pauper...That would be some funny sh1t...I really wanna see if anybody get their money back...That sh1t ain't gon happen man....

Comment: Thats what he gets for talking bout Michael Jsackson so bad! Heeeee! Heeeeee! LOL!

Comment: Bootanebootus(I have the hardest time typing your name! lol) I was thinking the same thing. It'll be interesting to see if those people get refunds. While I guess it was admirable for him to offer, there are a lot of channels to go through before something like that can happen. On Katt himself, well my exposure to his comedy is limited, but I will say this. I was staying at the Mariott one day a while back, I'll never forget, and I woke up at like 3 am and turned on some channel, I think it was HBO and he was doing a stand-up routine, and he had me CRACKIN UP. I thought he was hella-funny and until then I had been wondering about all the hype surrounding this little guy. So that's all I have to go on, don't really know about any movies he's done, though I'll probably check out the one coming up with Ice Cube. In general, comedy must be one of the hardest professions ever. There is no in between. You're either funny (so you eat) or you're not (unemployed). All comedians get kudos from me for even trying to make it in that profession. But I digress, I don't care either way really about this story, just wanted to make a comment. lol

Comment: The mere fact that he calls himself a Pimp is funny to me. I have a 10 year old son bigger than him. He had better step up his comedic game or get out of the stand up business or else he's gonna be giving a lot of money back. Also, how can he make that kind of announcement without first consulting with the venue first. I'm sure his salary is small in comparison with the venue would lose.

Comment: I hate this mutherfuvker with a passion...it warms my heart to see him fail...

Name: musbdherbs
Comment: Katt is funny but only to a degree. It's sorta like shock jocks who push the bars so far that it chokes you. There is no social commentary to his humor, it's just "say whateva I want, as foul as it may be." Paul Mooney is hands down funny. But Kat is like the class clown. Don't know when to stop. Somebody should've hung his lil permed hair azz w/that same noose.

Name: zzzboy
Comment: This Katt was never funny, he had the potential of being funny because of his look in the Friday movie.., but he never pulled it off..It was like hey this Kat looks funny, let me see what he says....It never happen...He didn't quiet fit the bill!!! Coulda been shoulda been but didn't!

Comment: I thought it was just me, but I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks Katt is not funny. I saw the Pimp Chronicles and I kept wondering if he could stop cussing and saying bytch/ho long enough maybe he can get a funny joke in between. Now that I think about it, maybe that’s why he cussed and said bytch/ho so much because he has no good jokes.

Name: Winn30344
Comment: He was hilarious in Friday after Next. I think he's a funny comedian and I loved it when he came to Atlanta (I was crying I was laughing so hard) but when I heard about the noose thing only thing I could do was shake my head!!

Name: SistaBigBone69
Comment: I'm still laughing at the article calling him "a pint sized pimp"...now that was funny to me. I liked him in Friday and I saw him in stand-up and I thought he was hilarious.

Name: MzTee
Comment: I'm with Boot...I laughed my azz off at Pimp Chronicles Part 1. I have seen his other material and it doesn't come close to the Chronicles. Whenever an artist (actor, singer, comedian) knocks it out the park the first time, folks expect them to do it each and every time. It's going to be hard as hell for him to come harder than he did in Pimp Chronicles Part 1. It's a nice gesture of him to offer refunds. But as someone else wrote, it's going to take a long time before they receive any money, if at all.

Comment: Unfortunately Katt seems to be a one trick pony. He has been doing bits from the Pimp Chronicles for a couple of years now, time to get some new and FUNNY material. He does have the potential, he was funny on Nick Cannon's improv show that came on MTV. The problem is he blew up so fast that there are really high expectations for him. Heck many a comedian started out funny on their special then crashed and burned because they decided to rest on their laurels instead of still trying to get better(look at how promising Damon Wayans, DH Hughley or Eddie Griffin before they got lazy---heck for that matter Chris Rock's specials have gotten worse and worse.) Oh well being funny ain't easy, of course our own resident BOOT has been consistently funny for some years now....

Comment: He might have been high? Nooooo!

Comment: Pimp Chronicles Part 1 went over big in the barber shops with the fellas.

Comment: I read through y'all's comments, and I had to respond. Check this: I went to the Chicago Theater (probably about a year or so ago) to a show headlined by Eddie Griffin, with the undercard consisting of that chocolate, thin, sexy female Melody(?), and Katt Williams. Melody starts out and is pretty damn good. Okay, cool, so now we rollin'. Katt comes out and the dude to' the roof off the place! I mean, he had folks standing; he even had to come out for an extra seven minutes. Dude handled his bidness on that performance. And then Eddie Griffin came out. (me shaking my head) Eddie was so bad--maybe it was because he had to follow Katt, I don't know--that people streamed out, booed, he even got into an exchange with a dude in that audience that began when dude tossed a roll of money onto the stage. Eddie knew it, too: he even said "I'm bombing." But he kept going. My man did try... After the show, in front of the theater, Katt was on his bodyguard's shoulders signing autographs and taking pictures--it was off the hook! It's unfortunate that those folks at the Arie had to see what they saw, because what I saw I'll never forget. And, BTW, if he was high, SO?! Shoot, dude is probably funnier when he is crunked-out.

Comment: You know, it seemed that way with Richard Pryor also Eastwood. Once he stopped getting high he seemed to have lost his edge or ability to be funny

Comment: I was at the first show. It sucked. Period. What Katt Williams & this @ss-kissing DJ left out was this: We could handle him being 40 minutes late but after that, our patience was tested. Also, we could not hear the show because he could not hold the mic up to his mouth for the entire second half of the show. Why? It doesn't take a genius to answer that. If he was that messed up, the show should've been canceled. At one point, HE WAS TALKING INTO THE MIC STAND, people! Katt even caught himself doing it, and said to us, "Did I really just talk into the mic stand?!" Being that d@mn high does NOT make you funny. It makes you look stupid. We were also upset because we thought we were getting a Katt Williams performance. The show was advertised as 'Kat Williams New Year's Eve Show'. We got Kat Williams 1/2 hour in the first part, 2 female comedians for over an hour combined, and fkd up/incoherent/Elmo 'Let's Play Musical Chairs' Katt Williams in the last 35 minutes of the show. In Katt's words: This is just unacceptable.

Comment: Oh, and no, we did not get our money back. The cd he gave out was a joke, too. When we turned the cd cover over, we discovered that it was just a compilation of music from different rap artists. The cd did not contain material from his shows or jokes.

Name: Coffeenmysugar
Comment: It seems everyone at my job was ranting and raving about him but I didn't see where he was funny at all. It seems the only way today's comedians can be funny is if they use a lot of profanity or put someone else down.

Name: Taurusingr
Comment: You know yall...Fan or NO fan, I think you HAVE to give him props for the refund thing! I mean, in the business (hell... WORLD!!) of "screw you I'm getting paid" I think this brotha, This brotha right here!, Is a real dude!! Good lookin out K.W.! P.S. Now next time...Have yo %*$ there ONTIME!!! LMAO!!
