Comment: i think the best thing that we can do for people that repeatedly sell us out as a people with their unrelenting self promotion and self interest; that furthers racist stereotypes of us as a people is to cease to support them. if we make it disgusting and unprofitable-emphasis on unprofitable- i am inclined to beleive that things will change.
it is deliberate and purposeful that black women are routinely portrayed and referred to hos, %*$!(es and whores in the media. it is only permissable and acceptable because they are partnered in this exploitation with black men in order to meet the objective. imus has two black people now. he took the racist successful howard stern formula and doubled it.
the reallity is, it will only stop when we black people make it stop. it is too profitable in this material above all else and morally bankrupt country to just stop.
anyone willing to give up their cable for 6 months to make their stance? i am- i am just that serious.
