Comment: I remember on his show Being Bobby Brown they showed he and Whitney getting the royal treatment at the Ritz Carlton here in Atl.back then he probably wouldn't have been at a Holiday Inn if they offered him free lodging,time does indeed bring about a change.

Bobby still has a good voice and decent sized fan base that if he'd grow the hell up and accept that he doesn't want to be slangin' hash at some fast food joint, this is his career. This is one of the few that negative press doesn't stop - people are just wanting him to get some good writers and get in the studio and do what he does best. After this I can only imagine if he doesn't do something more productive he will be on the next season of celebrity rehab!

Comment: McNasty, I agree. I'm one of those fans and it's too sad. I've also got brothers who also can't get it together, be it marriage, drugs, employment. They [men in peril] just don't get it. If only they'd listen to SOMEBODY. My heart goes out to those who cannot but help but engage in behavior that destroys them. What is it? Is it self-love? Is it self-esteem and the lack thereof? Is it absent fathers? What is it? I guess the answer is relative to the person. Hopefully, someday he and others like him will get it.

Comment: Realuv we can make all the excuses in the world but there is no logical reason for our black men not to come in out of the cold - it's just common sense. The fact is it's an inability to accept grown up responsibility. It's hard to maintain a home and family but black women do it all the time. It's difficult to actually position yourself to be the head of your household but black women do it all the time. Sure there are just as many fukked up black women as there are men but there has to come a time where we can find our way back to depending on and needing each other and recognizing that it's a two way benefit should be enough.
