Comment: There is NO debate for that style. It is ugly and brands you as ghetto. You don't want your pants all tight but some of these people I see have to walk with thier legs open just to keep thier pants up and the pants are under the crack of thier butt. That is just a turn off! My sis says it looks like they have a load in thier pants. It also keeps people from taking you seriously especially for a job. Think you going to get a good job dressed like that?

Besides that NO ONE is gonna be able to understand what they're saying. Comment: I don't know why some of our men continue to wear sagging pants, especially with the prison implication of sagging. If I had a son, there is no way I would allow him to dress like that. Sagging looks nasty and unclean to me I don't want to see someones underwear. Just wear relaxed fitting jeans.

Comment: If they would focus more on the origin of the sagging pants with PSAs; I mean some real live thugs and gang members they'd reach more of these young people than having someone preach to them about the evils of sagging pants; calling them ghetto and of all people a white man like Dr. Phil offering his opinion. Comment: The whole concept of sagging pants and unlaced sneakers came from the prison culture. The question should be why for the longest time have kids emulated this type of dress. Sagging pants came from the fact that prisoners are not allowed to wear belts plus it is easy access for other inmates, if you know what I mean. Why is this a subject on Dr. Phil is beyond me. There is nothing debatable about a style that already had a negative connotation to it. Dr. Phil must be desperate for ratings.

Comment: Up here in NY, I see a lot of skater boys with skinny jeans on who, somehow, let their boxers show. I don't know how they even fit boxers in skinny jeans, but....I wonder if that will be addressed too. Most Black men that I see up here have adopted the Kanye West style of dressing. I think it's sad that these things have to be addressed on Dr. Phil because we have a channel called Black Entertainment Television that won't take a stand on any political issues EVER or even discuss them because it would rather count down the Top 20 Hot Ghetto Messes.

If there was a bet placed on this debate on who would win and it was the YY twins debating a rock, I would put my $10.00 on the rock. On a serious note, I don't like the "saggy" look either. Comment: First sagging pants are an ugly foolish style, it makes men look like they have mdiget legs, I can't imagine why anyone would want to show their underwear. I once saw a boy running down the street and felt a little bad because he seemed to be a little 'slow' because of the way he was running, it looked so ungainly, then I realized the boy couldn't run properly because his pants crotch were at his knees and he shoes were heavy and untied. I'm surprised the police are not secretly endorsing this style because just like all the brothers who suffered broken ankles in the 70s running from the police in platform heel shoes, the sagging pants should make people easier to catch---LOL. Yes Mas90 I have definately heard the same thing and witnessed men who not only were showing the tops of their boxer, dude had the pants below his actual azz, to the curve of the cheeks, I was wondering what was up and someone explained---I guess it's easier to get a date that way, one can tell without even asking. Ying Yang on Dr. Phil---so Dr. Phil is trying to show how ignorant we are? I know that for or against sagging pants there are certainly more black men who could carry on a conversation about this issue, and why is this a Dr. Phil issue, is he going to give us the solution in one easy step or something? Yeah Dr. Phil will likely say 'Stop it Now!' or something equally as profound)

If only we could get them to understand that it's just unsanitary and with the altering of their walk, they will have problems with their hips as they get older. As I see it, your underwear is no longer "fresh and clean" after 30mins on your body after a day of farting, pissing, crapping. No one wants to see your funky underwear!
