Comment: I totally agree - to react at Beyonce calling Tina a queen is totally unprofessional, and, sounds like Ree has some emotional problems - everyone knows she is the "Queen of Soul" so, that means nobody else in music can be referred to as "a Queen." Comment: Aretha looked like the "Queen of Hot Mess" last night on the image awards. And did anyone notice the commercial that played right after she left the stage - Beyonce's lipstick commercial. I screamed. Matthew sounds like a manager to me. I completely agree. The woman who wrote Beyonce's introduction of Tina was on Ryan Cameron's show in Atlanta yesterday. She said the Grammy folks approved of it and wanted to keep Tina as a surprise so they decided to introduce her that way. That was the only change they made to it. She thought Aretha was being ridiculous and if anyone doesn't know that Tina is the queen of rock and roll they need to go back and watch What's Love Got To Do With It.

He could have made a personal call to Aretha and this could have been handled privately. Send ReRe some Valentine's Day flowers and chocolates and this all could have went away. Honestly, I don't think ReRe did this personally. I think it was her PR folk but I could be wrong. She was recently honored by MusiCares which is an organization that gives medical, psychological and financial assistance to musicians who are on drugs, behind in their rent or have medical bills. Not to mention, she is a favorite of the NAACP because more than likely, she supports some of their causes too. Also, she was a big supporter of Dr. King and of black djs in the late 60s and 70s. Remember, Aretha has been in the business since she was 14 years old. She has been the protege of many great black singers like Clara Ward, Dinah Washington, Rev. James Cleveland(another pedo, but that's another story for a different day.) and if I'm not mistaken, Fathead Newman. I agree Aretha can be a difficult person but she is very generous and extremely loyal to her musical friends and has helped them out when they needed it. Aretha is not as horrible as folks are trying to paint her.

We should be able to infer queen of what. I think Aretha did this to steal the shine from Tina, quite frankly.
