Comment: Why is it that people just keep making up reality shows about nothing. Stop the madness.

Comment: NueNue, the only thing I can figure is that every network is looking for the next BIG reality show. And as crazy as some of these may be, there is a majority of the viewing audience out there that simply love these kinds of shows. I remember thinking to myself, why would anyone care about the personal lives of such people as Ozzy Osborne, Bobby Brown, Snoop Dogg, Flava Flav, Irv Gotti or Anna Nicole Smith? Heck, I'm a guy who fights for my privacy on a daily basis, but these people live to expose, and they are "watched" by millions. One thing I will tell you is that the average Joe & Jill seems to forget that these folks on these so-called reality shows aren't as "REALITY" as we'd like to think. Some segments are often scripted and shock-value packed. Add to the fact that some say we've become a world of voyeurs. But I think another reason these programs are consistently at the top of the ratings is because (at least for the people that tune in) "real life" just isn't very interesting to them. So they watch others real lives. Factor in the popularity of chat room & message board drones with "fabricated personality traits" and the whole thing begins to make sense. As for reality shows, well I like Cops and America's Most Wanted! -lol- And cool Bob Ross. I loved watching him paint everyday.

Comment: I don't watch too much regular tv (I like the Christian channels), but I am LOOOOOOVING that new "reality" show on Fox with the lie detector test!!!!!!! THE MOMENT OF TRUTH! I'd like to see what Ash n' Banks have to offer. If I'm interested, I'll watch. If not I won't. But I'm definitely interested.
