Comment: Well-written article. It was extremely tough watching Obama go through that moment. On one hand, it was a tad disappointing for him to answer the way he did; on the other, I realized he almost had no other choice. I'm glad Farrakhan understood the position Obama was put in, and will continue to rev up support for his candidacy. Most black folks realize that Farrakhan may go a tad (just a tad) overboard with some of his views, but that he does more good than bad...and is a helluva speaker and motivator.

Comment: White still won't forgive Jesse Jackson for his 'hymietown" remarks in 84 even after he made that heartfelt apology at the DNC convention. White folks have never forgiven Farrakhan even after the heartfelt apology given during the Million Man March. you know it's going to be a bullshyt question when a white person states Louis Farra-Kan says____Obama was in a no win situation. If he would have said he didn't agree with much of what Farrakhan's statements but somethings did have some merit, white folks would have said so do you agree with the "white devils" statments or the Judism being a "gutter religion." I could only imagine the headlines the next day. They accuse us of playing the race card while they hold the race deck in the race game in which the rules are often changed to suit their needs.

Comment: it is called white supremacy folks. there is no double standard. white folks make the rules. they adapt them when it serves their purposes. obama's corporately sponsored buckdance to distance himself from Minister Farrakhan and his silence with o'reilly's "lynching party" comment make him a good mulatto to be used in the same historical way the mulatto always has. black folks would do well to look around the world and see where they could blend in. the sh*t is about to hit the fan. a mulatto man sitting at the head of the visible table will be the ultimate cruel joke. trust. for what it is worth... http://focusedpurpose.blogspot.com/ blessings! focusedpurpose
