Comment: Did I miss something? I still don't understand why they are investigating and I read it three times. So she applied for two one million dollar loans and that prompted them to investigate? For what? Somebody help me out here. Okay, so I read it a fourth time. Is this because the info she reported on the apps is inconsistent?

Rich folks apply for million dollar mortgages all the time. Why her? Why now?----------------------BOOT>>>>You stoopid. LOL!

Comment: The key word here seems to be "subsequent." It's simple. She has conflicting reports on the 2 applications that she filed. Much like giantsfan indicated, she may have other things on her applications that are not jiving. Plus there's a $5 million disparity between the 2 applications on how much she has in total %*$ets.

Comment: On one application she claimed 8 mill in %*$ets and on the other she claimed 3 mill. That's a 5mill discreptacy which no doubt caught the eye of the IRS. If she's heavyily invested in stocks, I suppose its possible she could have lost that 5 million relatively quickly given the state of the market.

Comment: The IRS has become more aggressive over the last 3-4 years because Bush's war is draining the Treasury. Last fall the IRS claimed I owed them $4000 more from tax year 2004. They were able to do this paper kickback to themselves by basically invalidating business expenses I claimed on Schedule C. However I have the receipts supporting my claims, so I look forward to meeting them in the small claims section of the Tax Court later this year.

Comment: I hope (pray) that there are no financial problems for Yolanda. My guess is that the inconsistent info on the two applications caught the IRS's attention. Also, Yolanda is divorced.
And when I Googled to make sure this was true, I found that Fred Hammond is also divorced. They are the rare celebs who keep their personal business private. They need to send a memo to Mel B, Juanita Bynum and Thomas Weeks.

Comment: Im not at all suggesting that Ms. Adams has done anything wrong, but the catalyst for the inquiry could be a discrepancy between how much she reports to the IRS and her ability to afford $2M homes. If in fact she only reported that she made a $100k/yr avg (hypothetically speaking), but has over $8M in %*$ets, that type of discrepancy easily warrants an investigation. They'll likely find that all is well in the Adams household but she isnt exempt from IRS scrutiny.

Yolanda had an ugly split with her manager (also a sista), me thinks the "tippin'" may have come from on the inside, if you know what I'm sayin':D! Gotta be careful, who you fire these days.

Comment: Working for the I.R.S. which I do. Ms. Adams first mistake was all application, were different. This sent a red flag up instantly. By her being a entertainer, rather for the Lord or self purposes. There is a mission on now, since the "Mega Churches" have come across alot of money these day's that are not unaccountable for. Be ware of your small churches too, we be coming for them too. Yolanda, does have to answer tothese actions. And really to have avoided all of the drama, she should have had her accountant, or attorney's to purchase the properties she wanted. Anyone of color, or should I say, in a special catagory, will be flagged if there trying to purchase XXX amount of property, rather cars or homes, land. Beware, I.R.S. is watching you like a Hawk.
Peace
