Comment: So are y'all saying that if someone uses part of your work without your permission, but it's not a MAJOR part of the new piece, that they shouldn't get paid? So if Terry McMillan wrote a new 300+ page bestseller and used a couple of paragraphs of something I wrote years ago, I should just say "Oh well"? However long the sample was, it was MAJOR enough for Kanye to use it.

Comment: Staggs was saying Kanye was six years old when he "Staggs" wrote the song. Taurusingr you are WRONG! DEAD WRONG! You can hear Staggs' music in The Good Life. They were playing the original here in L.A. and they blended Kanye's version of it in. You can definitely hear dude's song in there. I like Kanye West and all but if he is guilty of not paying, he should pay up.
