Comment: I have a hard time believing that this Tavis/Barack thing about Barack's decision to not come to the State of The Black Union got to this level that it would make Tavis no longer want to be on Joyner's show anymore as a contributor due to the public's reaction. Are you kidding me? It has to be something else to this story we dont know yet.

Comment: Of course, Tom said it's because of all of these other projects Tavis is involved in, according to Tavis, then gave his own opinion of wht Tavis left. To me, if you are in the public eye and sometimes get criticized for your opinion, that's the nature of the business. If you can't take it, you need to get out of the business altogether. I think Tavis is running like a punk because Black people are just not going to like you all the time. I think Tom should use Roland Martin. I like him better anyway.

Comment: Some people stopped listening because of Tavis. Did Tom's ratings go down? If so it might have been a business decision on Tom's part more so than Tavis wanting to leave.
