Comment: Not a fan & don't know much about him on his down time but---I'm glad he didn't get married, he had so much going on in his head & career and what with his mother dying, that's too much on his plate to concentrate on being a good husband. I hope their split was amicable. Does he have any relationship with his father? What about brothers & sisters?

Comment: Ok, this is coming out of left field, BUT I'm gonna say it, maybe, just maybe Kanye never intended to marry this girl; cause aint nobody that darn busy or schedule that hectic. What is he doing, healing folk or something???? Yeah righhht! Uhhh, I personally think somewhere in the back of his mind, although he's sad his mom is gone (God rest her soul) he's glad he doesn't have to go through with that wedding. Don't be surprised if he NEVER marries a woman, ok. If he starts showing up at award shows with John Legend on his arm, well, enough said!

Comment: After the death of his mother I said to friends...either this will pull them closer together or after he really deals with the loos of his Mom, it will propel him forward. I feel like this, she knew he was/is a major hip hop artist in the middle of a huge worlwdie tour. Either you understand that our you don't. For someone who is a "designer" -- she should have enough to keep her busy. Oh well. I also keep in mind that this couple have been on and off for years so anythings possible. Sometimes you can hold on too tight and you wind up destroying the very thing you want. lastly I'll say this, I'm glad they split because from what little has come out there seemed to be too much pressure over things that won't change. No use trying to hold to someone at the expense of what truly makes you happy because for some of use we take too long to understand that real happiness comes from being content with yourself -- not how much time someone spends with you. Kanye is one arrogant something but I have to give it him, he added something new to the hip hop industry, which was stuck in the mud for the longest.

Comment: I think he is just mourning. I figured this would happen. You know he is kinda silly anyway, with such a huge tragedy he probably wants to rid himself of everything that reminds him of the tragedy. He is probably in that phase of mourning. I think if she gives him his space, but do not stay too far away I think they will get back together. After all, I read that his mom thought the world of her and wanted her with him,...hopefully he will honor that.

Comment: Mas90, I know you will probably never see my answer, but no, I never purchased, downloaded nor borrowed a Kanye West album. Aside from hearing his stuff on the radio and on TV, I don't listen to her stuff. And I realize that his mother has been deceased for how ever many months it's been but yeah, it has taken his this long to figure out how to break up with homegirl! It takes grown men decades living lies, faking the funk, making babies, married and whatnot before they come clean and bust out the closet. As I said, I was coming out of left field, I could be way off base and if I am, I will be the first to admit it.
