Served me well 'cause every where I went I got free drinks b/c the bartenders couldn't believe & never saw a 5' 1" sister handle the sauce. Comment: I think most arguments stem from something silly, whether it's "You stepped on my shoe" or "You looked at my girl," and then it blows up to where pride kicks in. Sometimes it's just a matter of not backing down, whether you feel strongly enough about the issue at hand or not. So, IMO, while it kicked off because someone wanted to watch ANTM (pretty good show, too), it went way beyond that. P.S. This is why I don't watch any favorite show with others (Big Brother, The Office, The Wire, etc.). If it turns out that someone is watching with me, then I try to appease them by talking during the commercials...but it can become kinda rude when I kinda-sorta start ignoring them when the show returns and they can't understand that they should wind it up.

Comment: I am guessing there is more to this story than meets the eye. I don't watch ANTM regularly, but I peek at it here and there because my daughter watches it. It's hard to believe such NEGROIDIAN behavior could result from watching that show. The attacker and the victim probably have some kind of history that was brought to a head that particular evening. I admire the h ell out of the victim for managing to climb up those stairs to a neighbor's apartment after getting stabbed in the chest. She must be built like an elephant.

When he shot the man he said to the rest of the men "anybody else who me money?" one man started throwing money at him. I bet when she stabbed this woman for not leaving everyone else hauled azz out of the front door.

Comment: As a previous poster said, this was not about ANTM. I've heard of people getting shot at card games (Happened to a classmate of mine. He died as a result); getting shot in the mouth for talking to much (Happened to my friend's uncle); getting stabbed over a bag of potato chips (Happened to my old roomate's cousin), you get my drift... It's really about insecurity and pride on the aggressor's part. And it usually happens with people who have a bad history between them. The incident is just an excuse to act on a deeper feeling of animosity that is already there. Or, if there is no history, the initial incident leads to a different argument where pride and insecurity take over when cool heads should prevail. Either way, what a waste...
