Comment: wow, an abortion race card . . . . . . I know that anti-abortionists are upset about white babies being aborted, now some black folk are upset about black babies being aborted . . . . . . in both instances, it's a good thing because these upset people take care of all babies that are born with health care, education, housing as well as all quality of life necessities

Comment: People act like PP is an abortion factory and it's not. They do all kinds of things towards parenthood and prevention - prenatal care, exams/pap smears, outreach prevention programs, etc. As for targeting black babies, well not sure what to say about that part.

Comment: >212121 - What is jacked up is the fact that people act like they don't know where babies come from and then they get all panicky when they get pregnant - like they didn't know going in raw w/o BC pills or a condom would result in a child. That's the part that kills me. This whole, "we only did it once" sh*t. It only takes once, dummies!

Comment: I am very saddened by these comments. Yes, people are ultimately responsible for their own choices, as was I many, many years ago. But that's not the issue here. Do you know the reason behind the protests? Have you listened to the recording? Do you know the true history of Planned Parent Hood, previously known and the "Negro Project"? Yes they've met health education initiatives, but from it's history has been a cover-up. Please google Margaret Sanger, the founder, and also Planned Parenthood's IDAHO office regarding the expose'. People make mistakes, and I almost understand a young woman or girl's decision to cover it up with another mistake when I read comments like these. Don't make young girls feel like tramps or ignorant delinquents by saying such things. We should be educating our children on how to respect their bodies and abstain (AND NO, IT IS NOT AN OLD-FASHIONED FANTASY). Abortion has been the Number 1 killer of African Americans (and yes, these are babies not cell clusters), higher than AIDS, heart disease, and diabetes. 1000 African American babies are killed each day. It all starts at home, but when these things happen, the first thing that people say to a young girl is you should get rid of it, it'll ruin your life, or the baby will end up in jail, what option are you giving them. People may say b/c I've been there that i don't have a right to speak out, but I beg to differ. I thought that being a unwed Black mother with a fatherless child would be the worst thing in the world. I don't want another young person to feel that way about another life. I don't care who's protesting this. There's a lot of people that get on my nerves marching about this and that to get on the news. But if their presence causes some action, they're more than welcome in my book.
