The jury gave a not guilty verdict, but, as we all know, civil suits/judgments often times follow on another litigation level and monetary damages may be awarded, such as the case here with Chaka's son - I was stunned when he got off with a not guilty verdict, but, yes, I would sue as well, even though no amount of money can bring back your loved one.

Comment: If someone falls down the stairs in your home, you are liable for their injury. If someone is shot and murdered in your home you are liable too. Why do people keep automatic weapons in their home anyway, just in case a friend gets out of line I suppose. Damn the world has gone apesh*t mad.

Comment: chaka's son was fortunate that the jury was star struck. when chaka took the stand in defense of her son the the trial was no longer about her son but rather that they couldn't put chaka's son away for murder because it was after all an 'accident.

Comment: SHM, son killed a 17 year old over a female and he was in his 20's, WTH!!! just how old was the female???? I recall Chaka Khan saying in an interview, she was going to England because, america has a bounty on our young black males!!!!! Damn shame she and her son didn't stay over there, very strict gun laws over there in England, there's no damn way he'd be able to possess freaking M-16!!!!!

Comment: I know the young man that was killed and his family very well. He was a decent kid. Chaka or her son NEVER got in touch with the family to apologize or offer condolences. Chaka was only bout getting her son off. RIP Christopher--no amount of money will bring him back.
