Though I agree with economic equality, JJ never did anything that didn't have a hidden agenda. We need to teach our children that you don't need a flat screen, buy a book..and how stupid it is to have a tricked out escalade while in the projects and mom & pos can't pay the rent or the 'lectric. gotta start small, but we can get there.

A 100-folk symposium could have been held at an accomodating Black restaurant or a community center, if you wanna be "real" about this thing - I would presume. Stop giving these crackas your damm money! I know it's Now but we can learn lessons from back in the day. See, we had our own hotels and venues [Note: I'm tired of all these bougie-azz negroes having these conventions, giving these crackas (Marriot, Crowne Plaza, Hilton, etc.) all this money to do a lot of talkin' and socializing...] Ya know, f*ck this, we won't get it together until we must- then it may be too late...and there IS such a thing as "too late" - don't believe the hype. Comment: Mas90 you forgot a couple, kimberly-clark(sanitary products,i.e. tampons, pads) Johnson&Johnson, they make the bandaids that we use stop the bloodshed in our community, lastly for the ladies Korean companies, we buy their weaves, let's re-invest in them to put some benjamins in out pocket for a change or open a weave only beuty shop right next to them, there's enough kimchee for errbody!

Comment: McNasty......As a Realtor, this is the ABSOLUTE BEST TIME TO BUY PROPERTY. I'm trying to convince my people not to buy into the media hype about this not being the time to buy. It's just a ploy to keep the financially uneducated down. Other races know this so they are buying into our neighborhoods in droves. Just look around you. If you see non-blacks moving into a predominately minority area, you better be SCARED. Once they move in, the value of property immediately goes up because they start to put money into their homes and communities and then we can't afford to move back in. It's called GENTRIFICATION people. Don't fall for it.
