Comment: We just found out that my 30yo cousin is HIV+. I asked my daughters who are 11 & 12 what did it mean when he is gay (openly now) but also has a little girl by his ex girlfriend. They were shocked when I told them that it means he has sex with men AND women. BEWARE!!

Comment: I saw a screening of the movie "Cover" and it was pretty good. There was a panel discussion with Leon, Bill Duke, and J. L. King afterwards and Bill Duke talked about how hard it was to get a distributor so he went straight to DVD. Hollywood is not interested in funding socially conscious films about black folks. Leon talked about when they previewed the movie in Sacremento, CA to a mostly white audience the people looked at it as a murder mystery because the down low didn't effect their community. It is a must see!

Comment: Cover isn't a straight to DVD release, it was released in Atlanta, LA, DC and NYC in limited release back in the winter.... I will be going out to rent a copy this week!!!!

Comment: In 2006 I was suppose to write the script for this film but my writing partner backed out like a bytch. It show you gotta do shyt on your own will deal other black folks. So, I didn't continue 'cause I was still in learning stages about writing scripts.
