Comment: UMMMM..first of all what kind of prison is Remy in?? I did not know you could jus up and make phone calls whenever you feel like it! I mean I do not know from personal experience but dont people in jail call collect?? I do not know I am jus confuse how this whole convo was able to go on!

Comment: Blaquebaby, Remy Ma is still incarcerated on Rikers Island, a city jail. She is going to be shipped upstate to serve her time at a women's prison. The rules in a prison are a lot more strict than those in a jail. Once she's upstate, she won't be able to just jump on a telephone this way. What a bytch she is to shed crocodile tears in front of the judge and "apologize" to the victim in open court and then show her true colors on the air waves. She's lucky she didn't get MORE time. How arrogant she was to believe she would be acquitted and refuse a plea deal!!! She should be made to serve every single second of those 8 years, with NO time off for good behavior. She's obviously a female thug. Why would she carry a gun if she never intended to use it? I hope there's someone (hopefully the father) to keep her son on the straight and narrow for the next 8 years and that the child doesn't think violence is the solution for a problem.

One minute she begging the judge for mercy, next minute she's acting all tough, talking about she 'does not shoot girls'. Obviously she shot this one which is why she's in jail in the first place. It sounds like she's trying to say that the girl shot herself in the stomach for 3Gs. *eyes rolling* The judge is right in saying that she is an angry young woman but forgot to add that she also has no remorse.

Comment: I have not see this woman all in the newspapers except when she had to testify. Remy ma, on the other hand, has been all over, giving interviews here, there and everywhere from jail. One or two radio interviews is not going to make the survivor rich and if anything, she deserves to be compensated for her pain and suffering. Imagine not being able to have children again. No amount of money can replace that.

have no sympathy for her but I do feel sorry for her son.He's always going to be known as the son of a convicted
Attempted Murderer.Would she feel the same way if some one shot her son or that
boy she thought she was going to marry
Papoose.I hope they do save the transripts to this radio interview and use it,I hope they make her serve all
8 years of her sentence.By then she will have been well forgotten.Ms.Barnes you have nothing to feel bad about and it is indeed NOT you fault.And I hope you get every cent that you sue for.Maybe this will be a wake up call to ALL of these so
called entertainers that now your all going to jail for hitting,spitting and even shooting another human being,maybe she should have paid someone to take the rap for her like Puffy did with that young rapper Shyne.Remy Ma is indeed an embarrassment to ALL Black Women,especially those in the business who do not carry on like that.Justice was and is being served.Peace and Blessings!

How about simply saying it was an accident, but a complete denial just baffles me. Truth is, you can't trust a word that comes out of this woman's mouth. The last time she dialed in to the radio show, she claimed her commissary was more than the staff's salary. Flat out lie. Jails/Prisons have restrictions on commissary accounts.
