Comment: Well I do not know why people got up and crazy with this whole story I know the man said the N word on the phone, but he was talkin to his son, what he thought was a private convo! I personally never watched the show but I know there are alot of people out there who say a racial slur to their families and friends. On a lighter note that part about him reachin out to blacks was funny to me, just da way he said it..reminds me of a white person sayin I have plenty of black friends LMAO

Comment: Yeah, it was a private conversation and no it shouldn't have been taped or revealed - but it was. Dog was using nicca the way one would when one is trying to sting another and that is racist. Had he been saying 'my nicca' I would have been insulted that he would think he could take what hood boys say is like a term of endearment and use it. Matters not why - he did, it didn't sound right and it didn't feel right and Winn did you really expect chesty beth to be/do anything different than she's always done/been? I used to watch the show and watched the First 48 last night and beth is reacting off them getting that show back - safe to show her overwhelming arrogance! We'll see what happens in 6 months after word spreads that it's back on - no better way to affect a person than with numbers.

Comment: Only in America: They make Isiah Washington make pro-gay commercials, sell his soul to the gay community, cut off a leg, fired him, practicaly made him dress in drag for a month and they still wouldn't leave this man alone for just saying the word "fag". Chapman is caught in a racial tirade over the phone that rivals that of that Frasier character and they put Chapman's show back on the air?? Hmmm; only in America

Comment: I was gonna say the same thing about them crucifying Isaiah Washington to the point where he can barely get a acting job and this muthafukka is told to lay low for a while and his show will be back on. A&E has plenty of good shows without having the Dog on. There is definitely a double standard.

Comment: I knew this was coming, with "Being Bobby Brown" gone, The Gotti's gone AWOL. This channel is overrun with intervention shows and crime stories. You can look a misery for so long before you start hallucinating. I for one won't be checking for Dog's punk azz or his loud mouth, big titty wife. Bytch looks like Mt. St Helen walking on stilts.

Comment: Not watching A&E is a start, but if you really want to make a statement, determine who are the advertisers and email them letting them know how you feel and if they support the show you won't be using their products.

Comment: Only in America. It's really obvious that the reason a lot of black folks didn't trip off this was because they desire to be white anyway.

Comment: Also, go on A&E's website and make a comment in the appropriate section. The reason they're announcing it this early is to see if there will be a big uproar from the Black community. Make your voice heard.

Comment: DOne, Absolutely!. Doing what you suggest doesn't cost anything except a little time doing research on prospective advertisers. That type of information is readily available from the A&E Channel (which is of course ABC Television ).
However if too much attention is given to this show/person it may trigger more of the same from ABC. Since essentially there is no such thing as "Bad Publicity" in Broadcast and other media your suggestion could backfire.
I do not normally watch BET any more because of several situations. One of which was there sorry azzed actions concerning Hurricane Katrina victims relief. However I as well as several posters on this site participated in drafting several letters to BET's management. Those concerns were well articulated by several individuals, and served directly to the Pres. of BET.
Perhaps that should be done again. I don't really care if this "Dog" calls some black folks "Ni..er" or similar really he should just get popped on the downlow. The reasoning being the closest we will come to Black Existentialism here "Sheet Happens"
