When Jesus was questioned regarding who had sinned and caused the man's blindness, He responded in two parts. His initial response was that the works of the Lord were being manifested regarding the man’s blindness. He also responded with His need to complete His work. He notes that there is a limited amount of time in which all that He is responsible for must be completed. His priorities are set; He must do the works of Him that sent Him.

Comment: I have been really busy. My mother & father were both hospitalized for various ailment issues. Both are out of the hospital now and resting comfortable at home. My mother had an infection on both ear drums with caused her to loose her equalibrium, so she kept falling and my father called 911 and the paramedics took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, when I got the call, I was in the middle of my commute to work, and the trains were late, so it took me a while to get back home so I can get my car to go to the hospital to see about her. Meanwhile, my father had a dialysis appointment, so it was a mess on Monday. But everything is back to normal. So, if I am not back on the board today is because I am sleeping.

By now you’ve all seen the graphic video of shock jock Wendy Williams‘ hubby “Big” Kevin Hunter tenderizing some hoochie in a video that was emailed to urban bloggers from Wendy’s own email account.
Wendy Williams reportedly had some kind of meltdown yesterday evening - this, according to a few sources close to the situation in New York.
Despite the crescendos of “that’s not him” from people who viewed the tape but don’t even know the man personally - a man’s wife can recognize her hubby’s %*$ anywhere.
I’m told that Wendy kept her man servant Charlamagne up half the night last night emailing and calling bloggers to narrow down the culprit who sent the emails. Word is Wendy was highly upset and in tears over the video. After all, a diva can only take so much.

This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. The R. Kelly child porno case is underway and opening statements began yesterday. R. Kelly's lawyers also revealed their defense: A MOLE!!!! No, not the cute, furry creature with no eyes. I'm talking about the kind of mole that sits on your body like dead caca.
Kelly's lawyers showed jurors police photos of a dark, caterpillar-shaped mole in the middle of his back. His lawyers told jurors that the man in sex videotape does not have a mole. Case closed! R. Kelly deserves a hug and a gift basket for the inconvenience.
Prosectors allege Kelly made the sex tape 10 years ago with a 13-year-old girl. Kelly claims it's not him. His lawyer said the victim is "a wonderful person," but he claimed the girl on the tape is a hooker. His lawyer said, "The woman on that tape, was paid with money -- she is a prostitute."
The video shows a girl accepting money from the dude before performing oral on him. She dances, naked, to a Backstreet Boys song. She %*$!es. She calls him "Daddy" while they have sex. Later, the dude %*$!es and cums on her. Backstreet Boys?! I DON'T want it that way.

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien, and they referred me to you.
My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one, and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year, so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.
Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.
Another benefit in gaining illegal status is that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.
Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.

The Rev. Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church, said during services that the church accepted Joe Barron's resignation, effective immediately.
Barron was charged Friday with online solicitation of a minor. Undercover officers posing as a 13 year-old girl communicated with the 52 year-old minister for about two weeks. The online conversations were sexual in nature, police said.
On May 6, Barron suggested meeting the girl in person. He drove nearly 200 miles on Thursday to meet her in Bryan, where he was arrested. Police said they found a web-cam and condoms in the minister’s car.
Barron was released from the Brazos County Jail on Friday night on $7,000 bail. Police were unsure if he had an attorney.
Graham said it was a heartbreaking week in which “you need to know that we are appalled and we are disgraced by this terrible action, an unacceptable action, by a minister on our staff.”

Clinton raised $21 million from supporters but spent $28.6 million as she defeated Obama in the Pennsylvania primary, according to figures filed with the U.S. Federal Election Commission filed late on Tuesday night.
Her campaign reported debts of $29.5 million. Outside vendors, including firms associated with her top officials, were owed $19.5 million, and $10 million was owed to Clinton herself.
Clinton has since loaned the campaign an additional $1.4 million, meaning the campaign now likely owes $31 million, more than the $29.7 million it had in the bank at the end of the month.
Obama raised $30.7 million in April, FEC filings show. He had $46.6 million in the bank at the end of the month, with debts of $2 million.

Lou, the %*$!(@! who launched the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, tried to delay his sentencing to allow time to launch his latest pop group, US 5. His attempt was unsuccessful. Lou pleaded guilty to the charges last March.
Reuters reports:
In an audacious two-decade-long scam, Pearlman enticed individuals and banks to invest millions of dollars in two companies that existed only on paper and won the confidence of investors with strong but fake financial statements created by a fictitious accounting firm, according to his plea agreement.
U.S. Judge G. Kendall Sharp held up a book with letters from Pearlman's victims, saying they included "his family, his close friends and people in their 70s and 80s who have lost their life savings."
"So the sympathy factor doesn't run high with the court," Sharp said.
Unfortunately, the court refused Lou's request to serve his entire sentence in juvenile hall. Oh well, you can't blame a pedo for trying.

His wife said to him, "Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die." (Job 2:9).
Tests and trials come to make us stronger, wiser, and better and when God allows them, there's purpose and a point in every one. They are a guaranteed part of our Christian experience and when we're in the midst of one, the enemy will also try to achieve his goal. His goal is to cause us to "miss the point" by evoking an attitude and response from us of anger and bitterness towards God, blaming Him, and even cursing Him! The plainest example of a believer in the word who could have "missed the point" was the servant of the Lord Job, a very rich man of complete integrity who lost everything, but it wasn't him. In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God. (Job 1:22). It was his surviving wife. She was the one who Satan achieved his goal through.
Job had already been through one test, losing his children and all of his possessions. During the second test when he lost his health, is when she really let the enemy use her by telling her husband he ought to just "curse God and die!" But Job replied, "You talk like a godless woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?" So in all this, Job said nothing wrong. (Job 2:10). Did this woman realize or even care that she was wrong and that she had given in to Satan's deception? We don't know, but we do know that she reacted and responded as most would under those circumstances. She became angry and bitter at God and insisted that her husband be the same way. Believers today are real people just like Job and his wife, and there have been times when we've done exactly what she did, "missed the point".
Through it all . . . all of it, this is how I've learned to look at tests and trials. Every time I go through something, it's also a time of God testing my faith and trust in Him. Is He really in control of this? YES HE IS! Is there really a reason and purpose for this? YES THERE IS! Does any of this that I'm going through make any sense? To me, NO IT DOESN'T, but to God, YES IT DOES! We have to remember this one thing, if we let our emotions and feelings take charge like Job's wife did, then "missing the point" is what will happen and we'll end up like this woman - angry, bitter, and wrong! If you are in the midst of a test or trial, "Don't miss the point!"
PRAYER: Lord, we are in a time where You are moving and doing things in a mighty way that we've never seen before, and You are requiring a higher level and maturity from Your people. When we go through tests and trials, we don't want to miss the point. We want to say what Job said, "Praise the name of the Lord!" and not what his wife said, "Curse God!" In Your blessed name we pray, Amen.

Comment: *waving hard* Hey TQG! Good to see you in good spirits! I feel that way most of the time, when I'm not worrying about stuff. I smile all the time, even when I'm not in my best mood. I've been nicknamed "Smiley" and "Kodak" cuz I'm always cheezin. But you know what normally gets me in a good mood or makes me smile when I'm felling blue? Babies...I don't care how mad I am, if I see a baby it's OVER! My mood changes instantly. I love babies...My best friend just had her baby 3 weeks ago and she and the baby almost died. But God spared their lives and they're both doing well. My b/f had preeclampsia (sp?) and she had a seizure and was code blue. So she now has a new appreciation of life and she's so thankful to God that he spared her life. God is Good *the congregations says* ALL THE TIME!

The U.N. children's agency said in a statement Tuesday an estimated 126,000 Ethiopian children urgently need food and medical care because of severe malnutrition -- and called the crisis "the worst since the major humanitarian crisis of 2003."
The U.N. World Food Program estimates that 2.7 million Ethiopians will need emergency food aid because of late rains -- nearly double the number who needed help last year. An additional 5 million of Ethiopia's 80 million people receive aid each year because they never have enough food, whether harvests are good or not.
Food costs hurt efforts to feed starving children
In Shanto, the crisis is vivid. A feeding center run by the Irish charity GOAL has admitted 73 starving children in the past month.
Some, like Bizunesh, are frail and skeletal. Others, like 4-year-old Eyob Tadesse, have grossly swollen limbs in a sign of extreme malnutrition.
Eyob, whose mother said he used to be a lively, talkative child, sat in a stupor, unable to speak, not moving even to brush away the flies that swarmed all over his face. The sunny room humid with a recent, too late, rain shower was made gloomy by an eerie silence despite being full of sick children. Chronic malnutrition can affect children for life, stunting their growth, brain development and immune systems, which leaves them vulnerable to a host of illnesses.
Many mothers said their families were trying to survive on a gluey, chewy bread made of the root of the "false banana" plant -- one of many wild or so-called famine foods that Ethiopians depend on in times of trouble.
It's not known how many children have died or are starving now. Local and international aid and health workers say between 10 and nearly 20 percent of Ethiopia's children are malnourished -- 15 percent is considered a critical situation. In 2006, Ethiopia had 13.4 million children under the age of five, according to UNICEF.

Comment: TOKYO, Japan (AP) -- When Yosuke the parrot flew out of his cage and got lost, he did exactly what he had been taught -- recite his name and address to a stranger willing to help.
Police rescued the African grey parrot two weeks ago from a neighbor's roof in the city of Nagareyama, near Tokyo. After spending a night at the station, he was transferred to a nearby veterinary hospital while police searched for clues, local policeman Shinjiro Uemura said.
He kept mum with the cops, but began chatting after a few days with the vet.
"I'm Mr. Yosuke Nakamura," the bird told the veterinarian, according to Uemura. The parrot also provided his full home address, down to the street number, and even entertained the hospital staff by singing songs.
"We checked the address, and what do you know, a Nakamura family really lived there. So we told them we've found Yosuke," Uemura said.
The Nakamura family told police they had been teaching the bird its name and address for about two years.
But Yosuke apparently wasn't keen on opening up to police officials.
"I tried to be friendly and talked to him, but he completely ignored me," Uemura said.

LOS ANGELES - Actor George Takei, best known for playing Mr. Sulu on “Star Trek,” says he plans to wed his longtime partner now that the California Supreme Court has overturned a state ban on gay marriage.
Takei, 71, told Reuters on Monday that he and Brad Altman, his 54-year-old business manager, are going through the ”delicious process” of planning their nuptials.
“There’s no tradition in terms of same-sex marriage. We are designing and shaping our own wedding in our own way, so it’s going to be singular and unique,” added Takei, who first made his wedding plans known on his website during the weekend.

An Ohio jury has awarded more than $20 million to a woman whose baby was stuck in her birth canal for 13 hours.
A jury found doctors negligent Monday for trying to push Heather Grow's 9-pound baby through in 1997. The process squeezed her head. The baby was eventually delivered by Caesarean section.
Grow's attorneys argued during a medical malpractice trial that the baby suffered brain injuries. Doctors had told Grow months earlier that she had a narrow pelvic arch.
The lawyers say the now 10-year-old girl has limited use of her limbs, has vision problems and is mildly retarded.
The doctors organization Group Health Associates says Dr. Lisa Yang "did everything medically possible to facilitate a healthy delivery."

Spike Lee blasted Clint Eastwood on Tuesday for failing to include a single African-American soldier in his films about the Battle of Iwo Jima.
The Oscar-nominated African-American director said that black soldiers were conspicuously absent from "Flags of Our Fathers" and "Letters From Iwo Jima." Hundreds took part in the battle for the Japanese island in 1945.
“There were many African-Americans who survived that war and who were upset at Clint for not having one [in the films]. That was his version: the negro soldier did not exist. I have a different version," Lee said at a press conference at the Cannes film festival in France, where he also debuted an eight-minute trailer for his latest feature film, a war drama with which he hopes to set the record straight.
"Miracle at St. Anna" is an epic story about members of the all-black 92nd Buffalo Division, which fought the Germans in Italy.
