Comment: I'm torn on this one. On one hand, it would not surprise if Al Sharpton did force a donation out of Dr. Dre because the guy seems like he's doing what he does for money and fame, hence the phrase "media whore." However, what was there to march against? I don't know. Sharpton is right about Nas.

Comment: Dre has been a hater for a long time, and somewhat of a punk. Ususally I don't write cuss words online, but I have to to illustrate the level of haterism Dre is suffering from. He has always run scared of Suge Knight, who just got dropped by a guy half his size and lacking the security connections Dre could have. Probably the only reason Dre starting lifting weights was to keep from getting punked all the time. This is also the guy who supposedly allowed the song "B%%CH N$$Gas" from one of his albums to be used in the Bad Boys II movie because that's how he feels about Will Smith. Yet he doesn't have a problem profiting from the song being used for Will's movie, and he never stepped up and said that publicly himself. That to me is a B%%ch move. So really who is the real B%%ch here?

Comment: The mentality is something that as an aggregate group, Jews, Asians, Latinos etc. are not suffering from in America. Yes, there's a range and spectrum within each ethnic group, but the moment you can find an "intelligent" discussion on a Jewish board, Latino board or Asian board over the social "value" of Kike, Spic, Wetback, or Gook/Slant-Eye/Nip...then come back and see me.

It's a twisted, backwards and unjustified mentality of wallowing in ignorance and after awhile, losing perspective of what it means to wallow...because too many of us are in the same mental state.
After awhile, our Black water is seeking its own level but seem to forget that our Black water is quite lower than the other ethnic groups presently.
Reparations...another fruitless endeavor. Would never happen and has no benefit to our people other than a discussion item on boards like these.
In the meantimes, education is being emphasized in the overwhelming majority of Asian households across the country.

"I" do not believe that anyone "justifying" the use of nygger is an INDICATION of WHY we are running in last place. "I" believe that the real fruitless endeavor is funeralizing a word. "I" believe it is fruitless for anti-nygger users to continue to pontificate on the use of a word that is as ingrained in our vocabulary as the word black. That isn't something that started w/hip-hop. It started w/our community's complete negligence pre-1980's. "I" believe that the number of people (if any at all) who have been hindered by the word nygger is microcosmic in comparison to those who have achieved success by their own rights without focusing on a word. I don't believe that the word nygger has hindered our progress. If we're not at the point where we are banning books from being titled nygger than this whole discussion about "our souls" and our "mentality" is indeed fruitless. If we're gonna bury it, let's bury it. The odds of that happening are similar to Remy Ma's conviction being overturned. Thus, we should focus our energy on not giving life to a word. The sooner that happens, the better off we'll be.

I will not at any point attempt to justify why blacks shouldn't object to non-blacks using nygger. Everyone knows the history of the word. If they choose to use it, they too should have to deal w/the consequences. Is it right, fair? No it's not. But some things in life are the way they are...because that's the way they are. As a woman, Hellary can go toe to toe blasting her male opponents. Her male opponents can not do the same. Is it fair, right? No. But that's the way society is. Also, I think it's ridiculous to engage in dialogue about a word, but then be forced to abbreviate it at the same time.
