Comment: This is a good step...they should also pass a law setting a limit to how much plastic surgery one may have, and a size limit on small framed women who compel themselves that 56zzz size boobs is the bizness on a 5'4", 110 pound woman.

Comment: Seems like this should have been the case already. Surgery is surgery. HeII, my friend had to get a physical before having a bunion removed.

Comment: any well-intended legislation will have a loop-hole: injured parties will have to prove that the doctor didn't provide a correct azzessment of pre-existing conditions . . . . . the dishonest medical establishment will continue its shoddy practices in any case

Comment: This is a waste of time and money. Is the law also going to state the level and types of tests that must be done. There are many medical conditions that a standard exam will not discover. All surgery carries the risk of death. It is the patient's responsible to ensure that they are in good health and to disclose any known conditions that they have before having unnecessary selective surgery. It's not the government job to protect grown people from themselves.
